Taken a while back after returning from a little over a month on the road. That was a good day...

Let's definitely support this label run by completely questionable humans that have ruined the careers of, and ripped off tons of bands you all love.

Here's the two sisters:

Awwww.... I love having sibling kitties. We lucked out with these two. Their mom was a young stray that someone left in a tree with a bowl of food. We found her while walking our dog, took her out of the tree and she followed us all the way home. We just had to keep her. Their dad was a Siamese that wandered the neighborhood. We didn't even know she got pregnant and were out of town when she had the two little babies. There were only two so we kept them. Momma kitty (tinker) with her BFF (Baxter) And the babies.

I just want to meet all these cats. We had the pleasure of minding Jem & Scout a couple years ago who we originally took in from a stray which hung around our yard for years.

They should make sure to spell the name of the album correctly. PS: my "entry"

One page back someone posted that MusicRecordShop.com is putting up their allocation of the gold copies tomorrow, plus there are are handful of European stores selling it online that are linked to right on the very first post.

i was on three times in a game once. but it was at a Royals game. there were only like 43 of us.

For the lolz I asked an ebay flipper why he was selling a not sold out edition of this for $120. He said if you buy from a European store after shipping and conversion rates its "almost the same". So about £19.99 for the album and £12.00 for shipping is now the equivalent to $120 USD. I also pointed out that a good flipper would go after that more limited variant, he didn't have a good reply.

Southern Rock is a genre, not a location.

A brown with white splatter "Santorum" edition would also be pretty baller. Or a picture disc that says "No Means No".

This is easily the most egregious Newbury release thus far. This is in the used bin of every single record store in the country for 8 bucks or less, and you should really be buying the full albums anyway. Cosmo's Factory at least. At least.

You're the original owner of this but you've never played it...then you later say you'd spend over $200 later to buy it again. Genuinely confused on why you'd pay over 200 dollars for a record that you wouldn't play.

You don't understand, this is a once in a lifetime chance to design a variant for the vinyl release for the sequel to a covers album! What do you know about working with bands anyway?

Because CCR is a southern rock band from America, who's general fan base resides largely in the South where camouflage is as much a shirt color option as white or black. We all know that camouflage is no longer just "military-centric". Hell, I'm pretty sure my girlfriend has camo colored jeans and she sure as hell has never been in the military.

If you don't care about paying $10 for some PVC coloring, calm down and take a deep breath. All of the big MOV releases are available via large eBay/amazon marketplace sellers for prices in the mid $30's. (Sometimes they even get some color.) I like MOV, but don't think they are worth the premium we have to pay as imports. While the pressing quality is always good, the packaging can look/feel cheap, and the music sometimes sounds just OK (kind of flat) or some MOV releases have boosted bass and lower-mids making the music sound bloated. I also have some great sounding MOV releases, so it's a mixed bag. Glad this getting pressed though, and I hope this pressing lives up to expectations.

That's why I said no promises. There's a Newbury right next to my work and I can pop over during lunch, but it's possible they could be all gone, or yes one per customer, or they only have one in stock (which may be likely as it's a pretty small Newbury store) but there is another bigger store that I pass on my way home so I'll try there too.

Hey, did you guys know the original silver pressing is actually a picture disc?

What alot of people dont get is that the OG pressing was a picture disc and not a coloured one, these ones will sound better no matter what colour. Also the amazon uk site is stating a black pressing but no price and date yet.

Threw this together real quick using that template that got posted. A bit of an ambitious variant, I suppose. I tried to go off the subtle colors on the cover, with the black from the illustration, while hoping it didn't come out too gaudy, haha. I think clear w/ pink/blue/yellow/black could be rad too. Anyways, I would love to see this get pressed one day, as it's one of my favorite records ever. Too bad it'll probably never happen. I miss these guys and I'm bummed I never got to see them play.

It was remastered specifically for the vinyl re-issue and pressed at 45rpm. Its is the original song versions but better sounding and not as compressed
