Almost all records are slightly warped, I almost never get records in the mail that are perfectly flat. If it plays I'd just keep it, you're going to have a hard time finding another copy to echange it for.

In trying to decide whether to purchase this, like with most soundtracks, I try to imagine a hypothetical situation in which I really want to listen to the Jurassic park soundtrack on my turntable, and I couldn't do it. Or even if I did, would that be worth a minimum of $42? It isn't (to me). Part of the decision also has to do with the fact that I've never once in the last 23 years wanted to hear the soundtrack, period, outside of watching the movie. And I love the movie. For these reasons, I will not be buying this. Carry on, though!

So I just moved on the 1st and used this opportunity to rearrange my setup. I had previously been using Expedits, but grew tired of having to tilt my neck to find records. I ended up building a couple of those record store style LP bins so that lets me flip through records. I had a bunch of friends over a couple of days ago, and people couldn't help but flip through records and pull stuff to ask about or listen to. That never ever happened with the Expedits, as it just was too much trouble squinting your eyes to read the spines. Anyway, pretty happy about how they turned out.
