Mondo would throw in the colored version randomly. No Sleep would give you three different options and then just repress when they run out. Hot Topic would give you one version and $50 international shipping. The point is, I would have preferred it differently myself, but I will reserve the hate for when a label either presses a popular release in too small a quantity or doesn't press it at all. If you want something limited that few people will have, feel free to grab the original pressing from ebay.

You need an amp and preamp, or an integrated amp to make most record players function with speakers. Donno about MN groups... Head in to a local (independent if possible) record shop, maybe take your TT with you, and ask them what you should do. Many actually sell what you'd need. Either that, or for the time being go snag an integrated amp, or a receiver with one built in from a thrift store. Make sure it has a "phono" input. Edit: Weird that I'm the one giving a real answer. You caught me in a good mood.

I help run the company that reproduced these and having been the guy that printed and cut each set i can confidently tell you these prints are absolutely incredible looking in person. Jeremy at TRL and Pat Perry (the artist) were both awesome to work with on making this project a reality. All new records should be cleaned. The pressing plates are coated with fungicide. Not the best thing for your stylus.

I don't really understand all of the hate for Will Yip. I mean at some point you guys have to realize that bands evolve and change their sound. They chose for their music to go in this direction. They chose Will Yip as a producer. For example I detest the new Fall Out Boy record, but they chose to make their record sound like that and as much as i want to hate Butch Walker in the end it is the band who writes the music and wants to change it up. You cant just vilify one producer because one of your favorite bands wanted to change their sound. Maybe he was one of the few producers who would let them experiment and take the path they wanted to take. Loving this new song...cant wait for the pre-order
