  2. Oh man I thought it was $13.95 for the LP and I almost had a heart attack.

  3. As of right now it seems like February 10th is the physical release date. A few online listings had the 10th as the release date, and a guy from r/Deathgrips who works at a record store posted this: and as of right now its still available for preorder through discexchange. http://www.discexchange.com/Item/9007159898

  4. How much lemonade do you have to sell to be able to afford one sealed Blink-182 record?

  5. Reading the text description for the $4,000 package makes me feel like a very large portion of my insides have rotted, and were then abrasively scraped out. 2015 tax return, let's do this.

  6. Yes, we are doing one that will be released stateside. Our version will be a double lp with full color gatefold jacket, eight page 12” x 12” full color booklet. Colored vinyl will be announced soon and there will be a secret bonus item that be included with the release that will only be available at Spacelab9.com That secret bonus item will be revealed very soon and I think any Lego fan will be ecstatic with what it is.

  7. sooo the band is making money off of finding leftovers by selling them for a higher price instead of selling them for what the original list price was?

  8. I had a guy buy a record on discogs. Said it skipped on his Crosley. This is the bad part selling these days

  14. Hey you're really welcome man, I would have personalized your package so I apologize for you getting it straight from Amazon without any bells and whistles, but I originally intended to send you the tickets in a separate santa gift. Just so you know, everything worked out with the tickets and I was able to sell them so no harm no foul. It was my fault for not double checking before buying such an area-specific item. By the way, I have literally no idea what those postcards are and Amazon must have shipped you the wrong record because I didn't order you St. Lucia hahahah. I got you the new Bleachers album since I saw you had the 7" single but not the LP. I'll make sure that gets corrected, but in the meantime, that St. Lucia album rules. I love it, at least. That was a lucky mistake. Also I had to take a shot in the dark--I hope you rep the blue barracudas, I was a purple parrots kinda guy myself. Merry Christmas man.

  20. I feel like the guitars are too compressed on the recording itself for it to ever sound that good. This album has some of the strangest production I have heard.

  23. Man, I've been thinking about this and an Adventure Time OST record would be tits. There's some amazing surrealist scores in the show and they'd be perfect for pressing on wax. Considering Hot Topic are big on AT, I think it would totally make sense for them to do it. Someone sound the Travis conch.

  24. The first shirt I ever bought with my own money was a pennywise shirt in '98 . I was 11. Here it is new >> Was still wearing it, and spilling rum on it 10 years later > In the 7 years since, it has sadly been put out of commission , but still have it stored away with many many more. I'm a hoarder. However, this shirt has a special place in the collection due to it being my first.

  25. Max Roach, famous drummer, has some epic albums from 55-60. I've been on a kick of his for a while. He paired with Clifford Brown for a few albums on Emarcy. The first is one of those. In '57, he made a record in 3/4 time which was considered an oddity since jazz is typically in 4/4. In '60, he gave jazz a voice in civil rights making this record called "We Insist". It's pretty unconventional, has strange rhythms, focusing on African syncopation. Has singing, chanting, etc. But it's such an phenomenal record because it captures the time and a lot of frustration black people felt in America at the time. It's great. I haven't ever even seen a copy at a record store. They can be had for $50-100 but I just want to find one.

  26. Yeah, the heavy far out Coleman, Coltrane and Davis stuff is definitely up my ally. Don't get me wrong I love their early stuff too but to me there is something just so punk rock about their far out stuff. Like it's heavier and more aggressive then most punk and metal out there. I highly recommend Joe Mcphee's nation time though definitely not as far out as those other three it's got a lot more structure to it and less scattery. He's an incredible Sax player though.

  28. I sold my red copy of Benji to someone on here for 32PPD. I have a yellow that I'd like to trade for blue. I can't believe people think they can get away with selling any of the Benji variants for over $100 now.

If they went with Reigns/Rollins and added in Ambrose to make it a triple threat Shield implosion for the title, i'd be all about it.

  34. Wee Wee Water Squirter Pull his pants down and he shoots water from his vagina? Weird that a pee related toy isn't anatomically correct. Violent Bullshit - Adult Problems Hardcore band from NYC I think. One or two of the guys were in The Panthers but this doesn't sound too much like that. It's pretty great stuff, lot of people on VC could dig it. Album is under 15 minutes, give it a shot. The Black Heart Procession - Three New to me but I really like this. Listened to this a few times already. Nice work! Billy Wallace and the Virgina Blues - Americana with a south western vibe to it. I had never heard of it but I'm digging the first couple plays through. Nice to get stuff I can put on when my wife is home. Daderson in his deep sleep - Alone with Daderson - Not at all creepy! Goal:Bruins! - Bruins 69' - 70' Play-by-play record. What's not to love? Luz De Vida Compilation to benefit the Tucson shooting. It has a bunch of good stuff on it, Calexico being the biggest name and a pretty good indicator of the contents. Mariachi stuff is a bonus, this is a pretty good Comp! Homestead Records 7" Sleeve says "Indie. Folky but good and weird". I haven't listened to it yet but it has Christmas Everyday on the A side and Mish Mosh Squinty Surprise on the B. St. Vitus bar Koozie Says "Everyone Drunker than Everyone Else" which was true when I used it at Christmas. Will also be true when I use it tonight. I love it. Really. The ABCs of Rock Kids book of A - Z rock greats. Illustrations are great, lots of fun texture. Pantone Color Book for Kids I LOVE this book, the colors are great. Ophelia and I have been looking at it everyday. She really likes it too! Not pictured is two mix CDs, one punkish mix about hockey with a homemade sleeve which is amazing. The other I haven't heard yet but will check out when I get back to the office. There was also 3 beers. A black IPA from Unita, Evil Twin's seasonal Imperial Stout and a Grimm's beer brewed with honey and aged in brandy barrels. It wasn't as sweet as you would think, surprisingly drinkable given the style. They were all shared on Christmas. I can't thank themeconspiracy enough. A lot of thought clearly went into this package and I really, really appreciate it. Probably my favorite gift of 2014!

  35. As wrestling fans, we complain a shitload and pick apart everything, but I was just talking to a buddy about how many Match of the Year candidates there were this year. Say what you will about WWE dropping the ball with people, storylines getting fucked up, stuff making no sense. But it's been a great year for wrestling. I have the day off, hanging in front of my wood stove. Figured i'd throw together a 'best of' off the top of my head and in no particular order. Video quality sucks on a bunch of these, but i'm sure most of you have the network for the WWE stuff anyway. *********** ***WWE: Cesaro vs Cena (February Raw) Bryan vs Wyatt (Royal Rumble) Cesaro vs Zayn (NXT Arrival) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GGLm2ia4IFk (video is highlights of match) Evolution vs Shield (Payback) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JbC-4N0JTNo Bryan vs HHH (Mania) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K5mrrNaSU50 Bryan vs Orton vs Batista (Mania) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-HYth8vddgY Zayn vs Neville (NXT REvolution) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zy7l3L9KooM (video is highlights of match) ********** ***PWG: (it's impossible to find videos for this stuff, so i just used the previews for the entire event that the match was on) Kyle O'Reilly vs Drew Gulak (BOLA Night 1) Kyle O'Reilly vs Zack Sabre Jr (BOLA Night 3) Candice LeRae and Joey Ryan vs The Young Bucks (ELEVEN) ********** ***ROH: ReDragon vs The Young Bucks (War of the Worlds) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mv49EzytTug *********** ***NJPW Nakamura vs Shibata (Power Struggle) http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2a569q_shinsuke-nakamura-c-vs-katsuyori-shibata-njpw_sport Isshii vs Goto (Power Struggle) http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2a530u_tomohiro-ishii-c-vs-hirooki-goto-njpw_sport Okada vs Nakamura (G1 Climax) http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2czt03_kazuchika-okada-vs-shinsuke-nakamura-g1-climax-2014-final_sport

  38. Let's see... I've played a split color lp, clear green on one side, opaque white on the other. Surface noise increased as it plays over the opaque white. Is this an exception? Possibly. But from my observations, opaque colors have more clicks and an overall higher noise floor. I have black ones that are noisy too, usually from the 70s or new pressed at United. Go figure. Then again, maybe all colors sound equally shitty on your Crosley... :-)
