Hi. I have 200-300 vinyl albums for sale and I need help. this morning I brought 100 to a local music/collectibles store. The owner flipped through my vinyl and said he will buy 50 for $50 or 100 for $90. He had one condition: a few of the albums were packaged/stored differently. The owner said that these albums were not particularly rare or valuable, but insisted they be part of any sale. I don't this this guy is lying to me but I want to make sure. One of the albums is Sgt. Peppers by the Beatles. Its in a very old plastic wrap, looks like original packaging, from when who knows. There are a few small rips in the plastic. The only date I found on the back is 1967 for the copy-write. How do I find out an aprx. market value for these albums? I felt uneasy taking the guys word for it and handing them over for $1 a piece. At $65 it has already skyrocketed in price! I'm not really seeing how this price is anywhere near worth it unless it is limited to 100. Anyone who needs this should just go to your local record store, buy a regular copy, and number it with a sharpie. Take the money you saved and buy two more Ramones records!

My dad was born in Florida and watched Championship wrestling from Florida which was NWA. So he was familiar with those wrestlers. I don't think he knew much about the WWF. But the first wrestling VHS he saw at the local video rental store was Wrestlemania 1. He rented it and told me to watch it. I was five. From then on until my early 20's, I was a wrestling fanatic. I don't need my kid to love wrestling like I did, but it was such a fun thing for me to be into. Hulk Hogan was the babiest babyface ever so that's who I cheered for. Yet, it's fitting that the next babiest babyface is John Cena and it happens to be the only wrestler my son knows, haha.

It's ridiculous that it took me a day or two to really get the full story because of the censoring. I finally saw it because of /r/uncensorednews. Hopefully that sub stays around. Thoughts are with those that are affected. Also, to anyone out of state you can still donate blood, and it will help. It situations like these, if extra blood is needed it will be flown in. Ran through most of the album. The quality is pretty decent overall. If you've heard the IYRTITL boot it's not as pitiful as that. The bass is real weak, so "Grammys" sounds shitty.

When it came out it was broken. There was a day 1 patch that was bigger than the game, and it was still broken. Two more patches have come out since then, the most recent one fixing the 'slam down' feature. I would never pay $60 for it, even if it was perfect (I never do), but for $14 I said 'fuck it' cause I've always been a huge fan of the series. I was hoping it would be out of the THPS 3 / 4 vein, but since it was Robo, I knew that wasn't going to be the case. But since is the only skate game for the current gen., I'll take what I can get to feed my skating fix. Especially since I have a rolled ankle right now, and ironically all I want to do is skate. And Lizzie is badass. Her Berlin Park '13 run was great. She's very fluid, and just seems to blend into the course. Always enjoy her lines. I was reading a few articles about it the other day. I saw a tweet from EA saying nothing is in the works. Plus Blackbox isn't around anymore. So I don't know the likelihood of there being a Skate 4, but damn would I love one.

I once worked on a beef jerky account that wanted to focus on action sports (primarily skate and BMX) to launch a new product. The athletes and endemic media were generally nice enough and willing to work with us. Despite their cordiality it was pretty embarrassing to explain that we were, in fact, doing photoshoots and ad work for meat snacks. The amount of money being spent dictated it was in everyone's best interest to treat us with some modicum of respect but it was pretty clear that they thought our involvement was, in many ways, a joke. Long story short, I can tell you first hand that it isn't fun to be an industry joke, even when you have a lot of cash to toss around. I can't imagine what it is like without any money. This label must be tough to run.

I have been buying records for close to 20 years. I have never experienced a missed PO, a label saying something was available when it wasnt, or a retailer giving me issues over a record. I also have never ordered from SRC because they have a history of having all of those issues. I find it hard that SRC keeps having "bad luck" or whatever there excuse is, to me it is just bad business practices.

Dude, it isnt there fault the plates keep getting screwed up, but the tests were approved, but then the jackets didnt come out right, but then the plates were messed up by the plant, and then the plant caught fire and the masters were destroyed. Totally not their fault!

If they got time to announce new albums, they got time to at least send out an email to people who bought this about delays. It is literally a 5 minute process. Write a shitty email with whatever excuse they have this week and filter out those who bought it and presto! but really, it is SRC so why are any of us surprised. While this is my least favorite album of theirs, TJT and Brett Detar are in my top 5 artists, SRC putting this out is the reason I never ordered to begin with. Cant support a label that only cares about money and not their customers at all.

Lots of labels have pressing issues...they are just smart enough to hold off on selling them to people until they are confident that they will have the product in time. But, if you don't offer refunds anyhow...you don't have to care about making your customers happy!

Yeah, like I mentioned, I would appreciate an e-mail update. The fact that it's 2 days past the release date, their website says "In Stock" and two people have gotten word that it's still delayed another 6 weeks is poor business practice. Especially since we paid for this album months before the initial release date. Not to mention listing something as "In Stock" is false advertisement...? Someone who was waiting out the PO might've ordered it on Tuesday thinking it'll ship right away.

They've had no communication with their customers and because a few people have bought records by bands they like from SRC before, anyone who has a problem with how they're running their business are just "whiners who should shut up". For god's sake, it still says "release date may 20" and "in stock" on the release page.

You don't get a refund from SRC, just store credit.

Wow...never thought this would ever be pressed. Love this album but the price is pretty ridiculous (though unfortunately pretty standard for SRC these days). Maybe I'll just wait for a sale...can't see it selling much.
