  2. Looking forward to getting the white edition. Saw them at Primavera and it was one of the best sets I've ever seen them do. Daydreaming was incredible live, the crowd was in a silent awe and I saw at least 5 people weeping. Also got this poster from the merch stand that I'll get framed this week:

  8. Wrongdoers sounds so amazing on vinyl and I really don't want Solid State's cheap tendencies to get in the way of this record sounding just as good. fingers crossed.

  10. He's a genius for this "living album" thing. I'm assuming every stream all counts as the same album. Streaming interest dies down... make a few tweaks/add a track and boom streams will pick right back up for a few weeks.

  13. Just a reminder Amoeba's Weekly Steal is up. This week's record is Pucifer's (Maynard James Keenan of Tool and A Perfect Circle) “V Is For Viagra: The Remixes”. It features remixes by Dave "Rave" Ogilvie of Skinny Puppy, Paul Barker from Ministry, and more. Link: http://www.amoeba.com/v-is-for-viagra-the-remixes-lp-puscifer/albums/3808203/ It doesn't appear the JUNE15 code applies (not that I blame them).

  17. I was only 9 years old I loved tug so much, I had all the lipless sleeves and used albums I pray to tug every night before bed thanking him for the sleeves I've been given. tug is love I say, tug is life VC overhears me and calls me a troll I knew they were just jealous of my devotion for tug I called them a meanie They downvote me and send me to go to sleep Im crying now, and my reputation hurts I lay in bed and its really cold A warmth is moving towards me. I feel something touch me Its tug I am so happy He whispers in to ear "this is my thread" He grabs me with his powerful poly-lined paper hands and puts me on my hands and knees I'm ready I spread my lipless paper sleeves for tug He penetrates my sleeve hole It hurts so much but I do it for tug I can feel my sleeves tearing as my eyes start to water I push against his force I want to please tug He roars a mighty roar as he asks where to find lipless sleeves with his threads VC walks in tug looks them straight in the eye and says "Its all lipless now" tug leaves the forum tug is love tug is life.

  20. /// MELVINS | HOUDINI, STONER WITCH, AND STAG REISSUES Music Industry, 1993: everyone is looking to sign the “next” Nirvana. Atlantic Records found exactly the band they were looking for in the Melvins. Birthed in the Pacific Northwest gloom of Aberdeen that would spawn grunge music and culture, the Melvins were writing songs that were clearly inspired by the right stuff and written for the right people… and they had Nirvana’s unequivocal stamp of approval, which meant everything in the early 90’s. For the next four years after their signing, the Melvins would deliver three stellar, influential albums that were criminally only moderately appreciated at the time. In the past 23 years, they’ve continued onwards with Buzz Osborne, Dale Crover, and a revolving cast of bassists at the helm, cementing themselves as one of the most important American rock bands of all time. Houdini, Stoner Witch, and Stag have all been out of print on vinyl for over two decades and original copies can command into the three figures in back alley craps games. Third Man Records is proud to reintroduce these titles to the hungry vinyl-buying public, all remastered from original analog tapes, pressed on 180-gram vinyl and given the deluxe, gatefold jacket treatment. Official Release Date: June 24, 2016. ORDER BLACK LP BUNDLE HERE: http://thirdmanstore.com/bands/melvins/melvins-reissue-bundle ORDER INDIVIDUAL BLACK LPs HERE: http://thirdmanstore.com/bands/melvins Houdini - $20 - LP - Black 180g Stoner Witch - $20 - LP - Black 180g Stag - $25 - 2xLP - Black 180g All three for $58. *** PLEASE NOTE: Plans for the release of the limited edition color vinyl versions will be announced at a later date. *** MELVINS - HOUDINI TMR-295 Signed to Atlantic Records in the hubbub after Nirvana’s Nevermind exploded, the Melvins’ fifth album Houdini was a conscious attempt by the band to make a record that wouldn’t alienate their fans but that the band members themselves would also enjoy. Their best-selling release by a country-mile, this album crested at number 29 on on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. Houdini would be most folks introduction to the band and songs like “Honeybucket” received MTV airplay. first time on vinyl since 1993 six tracks produced by Kurt Cobain cover art by legendary artist Frank Kozik includes the vinyl-only bonus track “Rocket Reducer No. 62 (Rama Lama Fa Fa Fa)” originally by the MC5 LIMITED EDITION COLOR ON HOUDINI YELLOW. STONER WITCH TMR-296 The stellar seventh studio album by the Melvins is one of the most cohesive and beloved in the band’s catalog. With fan favorites like “Revolve” and “Queen” balanced with the impressive sound explorations of “Lividity” and “Shevil” and the result is one of the most praised albums of the band’s 30+ year career. first time on vinyl since 1994 LIMITED EDITION COLOR ON STONER WITCH DARK PURPLE. STAG TMR-297 The final album in the Melvins major label span, Stag finds the band fully spreading their wings (and budget) to create what is arguably their most wide-ranging and diverse album among the nearly two-dozen full-length studio albums the band has released since 1987. first time on vinyl since 1996 album now comfortably spans two discs while original release was crammed onto single disc portions of the album recorded at the legendary Sound City studios LIMITED EDITION COLOR ON RED AND AQUA SWIRL. (Mentioned in TMR thread, but I felt this deserved it's own thread as many people will be stoked on these since they have been OOP for quite some time.)

Yes, I also read that - thank you for copying and pasting it with the BOLD though! I am being patient - just checking to see if I was in a boat by myself as I saw that many had already received theirs. I'm in no rush, trust me.

  42. Did you see that they're closing down the Bountiful location. I'm sad because they were the closest to my house, but the deals are going to be awesome. They just dropped everything down to 50% off. Once they drop it again to 70% I'll make my strike like I did when they closed the West Jordan store.

  44. Afternoon darlings! How is everyone's week going? I started at a pizza place yesterday, which is something I didn't think I'd be doing at this point, but hey, income! Somehow I work with a bunch of lazy kids born in 1999/2000 who only listen to pop radio, which is...mind-blowing for a multitude of reasons. But positivity! Today I'm working with my brother and we're going to watch Vans' Propeller during our shift and make the best pizzas! Yay!!!

Apparently he was a regular at the club. Nobody knows what his real intentions were at this point but everyone sure as hell is quick to point fingers and place blame. If this year hasn't shown you what the media is truly capable of and you aren't terrified I'm very jealous.

Why is it so important to you that other people couldnt possibly feel for someone with different beliefs, orientation, or skin color? No one said they "understood" they said they were affected by it. Grow up. Not the place for it, so, I'm not going to argue the point any further.
