  1. Spent the last couple days remodeling my office / record listening / storage area. Still a couple smaller things to do, like waiting for my 7" wooden boxes, new speakers and a couple more frames to arrive, but this is pretty much it. vis à vis:

  5. While I'm sure this record will be great, here's the really exciting news — through their new label, Cursive will be reissuing all of their records, starting with Such Blinding Stars For Starving Eyes and Storms Of Early Summer: Semantics Of Song, later this year. FINALLY, those first two albums will be back in print on vinyl!

  6. Ordering without hearing the new track. Need everything Tim. Really curious about this new label. Feels weird not buying something like this from Saddle Creek.

  14. I know it's still a little early on in the day to call it, but I can say with adequate certainty that this is the least intelligent post I'll read on the boards today.

  15. If you dont include all the other stuff its like 20 bucks a record. Considering it has many records that were never pressed and the cost of LPs these days its pretty fair. That accordian box probably cost like 15-20 to make alone.

He give so little of a shit that it infuriates him and eats away at his very innards that some of us would be so naive as to think he actually gives a shit, so he continually monitors the board to make sure no one has mistakenly pointed out that perhaps he does give a shit, all the quicker to strike back and reiterate that he clearly could not give less of a shit.

  24. it's a shame i missed out on the gold. however, i'm going to get the black matte version, copy it to a blank bathtub-white colored cassette of my choosing, slice my finger open with a knife, drip my own blood on the bathtub-white colored cassette copy that i just made and watch the blood dry while listening to the black matte version i purchased. then i'll have the coolest, most-limited version of this pressing.

  25. Not sure why I can't add text to the above message. Anyway. Do I really have to give back my card when I plugging in a $2000 turntable and $1000 preamp into it? Actually, that might make it worse. Nevermind.

  28. Not to argue everything, but this specifically is the opposite of what any smart investor would do. You buy low and sell high, so if the thought was that Trump was going to tank the economy people would be selling currently to re-buy when he tanks it.

  36. In some cases you can but I'm speaking in general terms. Most of the bands who release cassettes ask for like $2-4 for a download and $5 for a cassette with a download. To me I'd rather have the physical thing too. for those wanting those tracks but don't wanna play with cassettes etc though: https://musicruinslives.bandcamp.com/album/voids

  43. I honestly think it just depends how you looks at the pattern. Once your eye gets to the middle of the rug, you can't tell which way the pattern is going exactly. You could look at it as going at an angle even. That's just me at least.
