So you lied about who you are? Because you simply stated in the first post that YOU were Tyson Platt, Associate Professor of Psychology at the Alabama State University. If there's one thing we in the vinyl community hate more than shitty surveys, it's shitty surveys given by LIARS. YOU'RE A BIT FAT LIAR. To be fair, you have gotten a bit better compared to when you first joined some time ago. I still think your overzealousness can get pretty exhausting to keep up with, and I'm torn between whether I find your personal critiquing of music and bands more amusing or annoying. I guess it sort of depends on my mood. But really, you have to ask yourself; if an entire community of level-headed individuals all sort of give you flack for more than a year, in individual cases, over various topics... are all of those people just being bullies / edgy / pouncing? Or is there maybe a little fire with all that smoke?2 points

PO NOW : DIREWOLVES "The Great Year" 12"EP
whoa reacted to throatruiner for a topic
Pre-orders for DIREWOLVES' upcoming 12"EP/CD "The Great Year" are now up at www.deathwishinc.eu/categories/direwolves (Europe) and https://deathwishinc.com/collections/throatruiner/ (North America). The vinyl comes on limited blood red/bone mix or black vinyl. "Three years after their debut album "Aegri Somnia", Lorient, France's DIREWOLVES return with "The Great Year". This new six tracks EP focuses on the more energetic facet of their sound, refining the band's revigorating blend of melodic crust and screamo-influenced hardcore. Recorded & mixed by Guillaume Doussaud at Swan Sound Studios (Amanda Woodward, Aussitôt Mort…), mastered by Dan Coutant at Sun Room Studios (Coliseum, The Sword, Jawbox…) and with artwork once again designed by Førtifem, "The Great Year" is another implacable display of the band's abrasive yet anthemic vision of punk/hardcore." CREDITS — Recorded & mixed by Guillaume Doussaud at Swan Sound Studios — Mastered by Dan Coutant at Sun Room Studios — Artwork by Førtifem TRACKLIST 01. Unpoisoned 02. Oaths & Duality 03. Quick: Things to do in Asheville (NC). Go!
Tommy reacted to deadreckoning for a topic
We stayed out of West Ashville. My buddy was afraid of the lack of parking and high hipster abundance - says the guy who i went beard oil shopping with... His wife got free tickets to the burly beer festival at the Sierra Nevada brewery. They were like $80; i dont drink $80 of beer in a 3 year period, but there were free and upper management wanted to go. So go we went. There was some decent beers and a sweet grilled cheese food truck. Later on we went to see Mac Sabbath, Metalachi and Okilly Dokilly at the Grey Eagle. Okilly Dokilly were just Okilly, no dokilly, but Metalachi (mariachi metal covers) and Mac Sabbath (snack rock tunes set to sabbath) were good. Just getting a look at Slayer McCheese was worth the price of admission alone.1 point -

Yeah, I had never heard either of those statements and I really see no reason why they would. Of course they are going to take full subscribers over crate members every single time since it is the smartest business move and is the same reason they took away the 1 month option for the last wave of open memberships because they knew people would still buy it. There will probably be leftover copies though so they can replace any damage or problems once they all ship out but who knows how many that will be and I would not count on any actually hitting the store but who knows once all the dust settles.1 point

everyone i've seen today is in great spirits. coworkers brought breakfast tacos in this morning. people are all chipper in the hallways. the establishment neo-con/neo-lib media is actually praising trump for a change... who knew that blasting 59 tomahawk missiles into the middle east would bring so many people together. should we do this more often? by my estimates, with the proposed budget cuts to the EPA alone, we could blast around 17-18 tomahawk missiles per week for the next year.1 point
