  2. Finally listened to this album. I've been a fan of the band since Deja came out. Every time they release a new album I'm shocked with how different is sounds than the previous ones, but am impressed. But unfortunately this one does nothing for me. Had a hard time even getting through it I was so bored. I will never choose this album when I'm in the mood to listen to Brand New.

  3. Got mine yesterday, the album is pretty subdued... which fits the concept with this album being about death and decay. Vinyl is super nice 2x 180gram, a few pops on side A but I plan on giving it a clean tonight.

  4. Thanks for the options @rrd. I'm currently trying to finish my list on Record Nerd but it is quite cumbersome. I'm not sure what some of the Discogs lovers don't understand in this thread (and don't get me wrong I love Discogs and am a regular contributor). DeadFormat offered some nice features in a list form that is not cluttered like Discogs. Don't kid yourself Discogs can look cluttered to the untrained eye. -DeadFormat allowed you to make a nice --- customizable --- list that was easy to maintain and add new sections and additions on the fly. -I could go into my "12" Albums and EPs" section and push "Add New" and just type in 20 records in detail and hit submit and DeadFormat would put it all in alphabetical order immediately. So basically you can add 20 new things to that list as fast as you could type and at a push of a button it appears on your list in order. -Not only could you make your own unique titled sections but when you had a list of sections you could move each section to any order you'd like. -You could also have individual pictures on each item you had (not a general image used on Discogs) to show the condition of the actual item you own. In short, DeadFormat was a way to have items on a list that were divided up any way you could want and have ease of use included. With your own pictures of the items all in a simple list form.

  8. In case anyone is wondering...the actual The Vietnam War special mini-series is airing on Sunday 9/17 on PBS. I'm going to set my DVR for sure. I'm a sucker for documentary films anyways. Having TR+AR doing the soundtrack is an added bonus.

  13. There's a middle age vibe for sure on this LP. T-Shirt, La Dee Da, Sunday Rain and the title track are among the tracks that have that strong Beatles, Motorhead, and Led Zep vibe. But Run and The Line still give is that signature Foo sound. Sky Is A Neighborhood gives me a Black Mountain vibe which Grohl has said he loves. It's a very unique track to hear from them and was a breath of fresh air. Arrows (my favorite track on the album) has a unique Foo/Queen blend. The instrumentation and production are spot in on. If they would've toned down the classic rock vibes just a tad, I'd probably put it up there with the first few albums. That being said, I enjoyed this album ALOT. This is def an album to enjoy on wax.

  20. Picked it up. I was curious about there being only 2,800 records pressed. As of now it brings it to a cool 3,000.

  23. I'm not sure what these go for either. Since we're both clueless, we can call it a square deal and I'll just buy it for whatever a new CD is priced at in the U.K. these days. PM me your Paypal address and we'll get this show on the road.

  30. Also Reckless.com has it for 50 along with all the reissues + NTAE for a bit cheaper than NIN.com. http://www.reckless.com/index.php?keywords=trent+reznor&format=&cond=&store=&is_search=true&srch=Search they've got to be better to deal with than SandBag(ofDicks)

  31. I feel like this is the important question. The NIN reissues came with download cards (at least my Broken did -- I haven't had a chance to open the others yet), but I don't think the Before the Flood soundtrack did.

  44. 19 songs! Hot damn! 6 Feet Beneath the Moon is excellent, and that new song is tight! I knew this was on the horizon but didn't know when. Definitely one of my most anticipated for the remainder of the year.

  45. You said it better than I did. This is my exact feeling. I can hardly tell the difference between most songs. I know Anthony sees Yip as a good friend but holy smokes he needs to use different producers again. It's been way too long.

  47. these types of releases always turn the thread into a complaint hotline when it's over. I don't get it, everyone gets plenty of notice and is guaranteed it won't sell out yet people's money problems make it a shitty thing? im really sorry you guys didn't have the money on release day but to sit here and complain about your money issues as a way to shit on the release is ridiculous. it always helps to have an emergency fund/credit card for stuff like this...
