I like to temper my enthusiasm by imagining what the worst possible version of the deluxe version would be. I think I've settled on a cardboard box with 12 loose 7" records inside, with half of the song on each side. Oh, and if you arrange the covers of the 7" records together, it forms the cover of the new Green Day - Greatest Hits: God's Favorite Band.

At least have the goddamn courtesy to make them accurate. Here I was thinking I could see Unwound to celebrate getting my AARP card :/

That's dictated by the market. If a variant sells out, it sells out. They are usually pretty good about repressing eventually and the black is STILL available, so if you really wanted the vinyl version, there ya go! Calling this a cash grab is a joke. It's not like they're selling their box sets for 229 euro like the Suspiria soundtrack thread you started.

Suspiria is one of the most overrated movies of all time. The score is all you really need IMO.

My copy showed up on Monday. Happy to say it is not warped at all. Came with a bonus poster too! Although I am thoroughly burnt out on this record, it does sound quite nice on vinyl and am happy to finally own it physically.

So after a long wait, Newbury just announced that they didn't get any of the autographed prints that were supposed to come with their preorders for the indie version of this. They asked if we'd like to cancel or keep the orders... Well considering They charged $38 for it after shipping and my local still has copies for $21 that seems like a pretty easy decision.

I got mine over the weekend and listened to it a few days ago. Enjoyed it a fair amount on my first impression, very much so looking forward to spending some more time with it! Well worth the wait for sure!

I prefer opaque records when they're just one straight colour – I can't stand marbles, so I'm a little bummed this one is a marble. Plain transparent records are dope.

I went to his house show in Houston and it was incredible. A bit short, but it was well worth the money. Also, not sure I'd categorize it as post-rock. Much more on the ambient side. It was just Andy performing solo w/ Hotel Neon opening when I saw him.
