I mean, if 2018 is the end then no one else has to support Brand New. You aren't giving them money by spinning their records. Play on. Because that's just a song that very well could've been written from the perspective of a character...? I might try to avoid giving Jesse any of my money, but I still enjoy his music so I'll listen to the records and files I already have.

It was a pressing error (the ETID thing). I believe anyone who ordered it was given the opportunity to request a proper pressing with all of the songs. I ordered from the EU so that’s just going off memory.

Yeah. I understand why they feel that way. It's just not my mentality. I'm honestly glad so many people are brave enough to come forward about all of this stuff (in Hollywood, etc), but I really wish it wasn't reality. Humans suck a lot of the time.

It came in a resealable plastic sleeve, the 7 inch, additional LP sleeves, and the print of John all were inside the gatefold, as well as the 2 lps which were in polysleeves!

AFAIK there's only one actual song out of all of these, and it's not great. Everything else is just lame fan club banter that I think even the most die-hard Beatles fans would struggle to enjoy. I'd consider picking this up at $20-$30, but $70 is way too much IMO.

I'm kind of hoping this goes up early next year, which I know will probably leave a lot of people here foaming at the mouth in paroxysms of rage if it happens but November and December are the worst possible months to be dropping what I imagine will be probably at least $50 worth of pre-order before another $30 international shipping. I've been waiting for a chance to grab this for so long I'm happy to wait till after the financial bloodbath that is Christmas is done.

For those who may be interested, Shangri-La Records in Memphis has copies of American Blues from Julien’s previous band, the Star Killers, on vinyl. It was supposedly limited to 300 and is probably reasonably hard to come by, but I ordered it last week and got it today and it’s still showing as in stock. Thought the production was really fitting. Pretty bass heavy, Sergio gets a lot of space to shine. Said this in another thread but to ME, it sounds like they achieved the "wall of sound" feel they were going for. If you take the 98 demo and throw in the heavy layer type tracks like Freezing Process and It Would Be Cooler If You Did, along with a lot of the weird guitar stuff they've been doing live since the reunion, you'd get this album.
