Can't speak for FYE, but if you have the time to head about 20-30 minutes south, The Vinyl Groove in Bedford is one of the best shops in the area, maybe the state. Small town, vintage vibe, super cool dudes. You won't regret going. For eating, if you like Italian, Little Italy is the place to be (big surprise). Tons of pizza options, and Rising Star Coffee is nearby. Tremont also has pretty good food, and it's closer to downtown.

I'll finally get an official live version of Squalor Victoria. There's some good pick ups on this list. Curious as to how many are RSD first vs one off. I want that Neil Young Roxy release, but I know its RSD first, so I'm not sweating it.

Maybe I'm in the minority here but I didn't think this band really stood out until they ditched the post hardcore/screamo sound (with Hiding and going forward). Not that their older stuff is bad, but it never dug it's claws into me. In fact I sold all my old PBTT records because I never listened to them. Dig the new album, and new direction. You can tell these dudes really like The National haha.

Gotcha. It's just one extra bullshit thing some of us add to our lives. Most people add hashtags to their posts so you can search which is how I use it when I want to look for something specific. I'll usually use it to see when a new record releases and copies start popping up under the bands tag tell me I'll have my copy soon haha.

My wantlist is getting longer than usual already considering they haven't announced the full list. Josephine Foster, Spiritualized, Spacemen 3, Tim Armstrong, Sufjan Stevens , 2 Cure releases, 3 Tom Waits releases, the Wire singles box set. I'm also curious to see if Bella Union will continue their Dirty Three reissue series. Maybe we will get Lowlands? Anyone heard anything about The Cure's "Torn Down"? This is extremely wishful thinking, but I wonder if we'll get a 20th anniversary first ever vinyl reissue of System of a Down's Self-Titled. I really doubt it, but that would get my ass out of bed early for RSD.

They were dope. My sister had their CD. Or perhaps one of her friends burned her a copy. Treasure Island was a jam. It still pops into my head now and again.

For $14, I would buy it with another album you need for your collection. (Save on shipping.) This is really a “timeless” record that has been loved for decades, and one who’s brilliance I failed to recognize for years. (I mean “Kelly Watch the Stars”...what the hell was wrong with my ears all these years!?) Even if you prefer the black OG, this colorway will be trading for $40-$50 plus in a few months. When great records are THIS CHEAP these days, you gotta grab them before they are gone. Doubles also make AMAZING gifts!

Really struggling with whether or not I need this. I don't have doubles of any album at this point. I don't want to start down the road that I've seen so many take on these forums. That road leads to darkness.

Yeah, all Hayden social media has made it hard to miss so I'm surprised anyone who'd want this album could miss out. You shouldn't worry though, it took a while for the preorder to sell out, so I assume it shouldn't be too hard to order from the site on release day. Just make sure you visit the site early EST on the 9th.
