My boss saw them perform this on Conan or some shit one night and came in to work the next day, pulled me aside to tell me about how powerful it was, and got choked up just recollecting it. I didn't know what to do. I wanted to run. I wanted to laugh. I was paralyzed. It was an out of body experience.

I've worked with an absurd number of dudes who love Disturbed. They're always like "I love heavy music!" then I put on like Converge or something and they're like "...can you put on Five Finger Death Punch?"

One of my coworkers got really confused when he asked me if I was a Disturbed fan and I said no. He said he had me pegged as one... what am I fucking doing to give off that impression? Gross.

listen, Grouper records are all amazing but none of them command the prices they once did. anyone who missed out and wants to pay $60 or less for this will more than likely get that chance. the $40+ price point will not turn out to be "a lot cheaper" than the aftermarket, i guarantee it.

Tim, I'm not sure you really don't know... A stamper set generally yields 700-1000 records. In 2-Step plating, the stampers come from a Mother that can yield about 11 sets of stampers, or about 11,000 records. In 3-step plating, the father yields about 10 sets of mothers x 11k records per mother, or about 110,000 records pressed These large Pressings are almost always 3 step-plated and are often pressed at different plants from the same lacquer cut and then father and mothers

I think the dude's got a pretty nasty ego problem, but wasn't one of the guys kicked out of the band for sexual assault allegations and another one just straight up quit in the middle of a show? Whatever the case, I'm kinda over this band. The first two EPs were great, the first LP was ok, and I think I only listened to the last album maybe two times. Acoustic Beach Slang is not a thing that I'll ever be interested in.

So this forum shreds Disturbed to pieces yet lets the love fest for ICP happen without incident. What am I missing here? Also, you guys must already be forgetting ETR is releasing a porn music record this year. How can this not be considered the worst release in existence?

I don't know if anyone has mentioned Zhrine yet, but I'm really enjoying Unortheta. The album, as a whole, has a lot of different dynamics going on, so it's a solid listen. There are a bunch of variants out there and most are limited to 200 or less. Scored a red /125 for $30, which seemed fair. They are from the land of Sigur Ros. Bummed I missed their tour.

I liked some really shitty music when I was a kid. I still do, to some people. I can say, with all honesty, I've never understood it. I even saw them "perform(?)" at Ozzfest. It's just SO, SO bad. I mean even if I was an actual monkey, functioning as a human, who was really into Nascar and the Confederate army, I'd still wonder who the hell could reasonably enjoy it

The best part of that discogs page is the one comment. Not sure if it's just my vinyl, but quality is terrible. Both sides full of background noise and pops. I remember when I bought my first picture disc.

We want the music first and the collectibility to be a veryyyyy distant second. Forgive me! But it's done outta love... yeah, the back of the insert says to run it at 45rpm, and watch through the camera on your phone under a bright light. I tried that, and still couldn't get it to work :-/
