According to a friend with close ties, Anti Mother is getting pressed next. Bless The Martyr wont happen, no one in the band currently was in the band for that record so it'd be weird to press it.

I do wish post-OLTA that they would have kept down that path - they introduced some things there that were a bit more interesting and cinematic in that album IMO. But agreed, self-titled just wasn't executed well. Just a depressing listen, really, so I'm not surprised they pressed the 'restart' button.

I don't collect records....I buy them to listen to...so I consider it a library. One record I wanted for the longest time was Hooker 'n Heat by John Lee Hooker and Canned Heat. My copy is a very old pressing and the cover is a bit beat, but the records play just fine. That's all I care about personally.

I created the discogs entry last night, got my copy from a local record store last weekend. I messaged Matador about it and their response was: "We did a small repress and they're all gone (save for the band's merch table)." Didn't really specify if it was saved only for the Euro tour. Heard from someone that the Matador newsletter stated only 300 copies were issued. Matador said they would try to do more though. I've seen some record stores post on IG that they've received the repress last Friday too but are probably limited to 1 or 2 for each store. I'd suggest checking your LRS if they'v received any. I'm here for turbo kid 2! The wife and I watched Cargo last night, which I think it a Netflix exclusive and I really enjoyed. nothing spectacular but with all the garbage out there, I thought it was cool.

In some ways, that’s a great thing, but in others, it became a shit meme far too quickly, but has persisted this way ever since with little or no change to the formula. For our money, you’d be better off schooling yourself in DJ Screw, V/Vm and those early 0PN offshoots, but collectors and vape scene types surely won’t be able to resist this pink vinyl pressing - with poster - even if it means cutting down on avocados for a week or two (give the Chileans a break, eh?).

Record collecting is about YOU and what YOU want to collect. Once you start collecting for the sake of others, then you turn into sunshine, randy savage or the paul rudd guy. Don't let these immature man-children rain on your parade. I guarantee you they are just blowing smoke. I found a beat to hell copy of kind of blue in a $.25 bin. You better believe i snatched it up as quick as possible.

I would be fine with an unofficial copy as long as it had a price tag to match (these are still too high IMO).
