  1. If anyone wants this, it’s available. Just grabbed one. Limited to 500 splatter. 2 per customer. https://www.turntablelab.com/products/lord-huron-strange-trails-splatter-color-vinyl-vinyl-2lp-ttl-exclusive
  2. Thoughts on the 1st single...sounds pretty sexy to me. and I wasn’t a big fan of their last LP
  3. I saw that too, "primarily recorded." Are we thinking not all songs were recorded Live at the Ryman?
  4. This is going to slay...I feel like I've listened to Southeastern front to back once every 2 weeks since it dropped in 2013. Loving The Nashville Sound and Something More Than Free as well. Can't wait for October. Edit: Just saw the track listing for this. Definitely excited, but WHY is Super 8 on there. I don't know, but I just can not stand that song. I think it just doesn't fit on Southeastern and I skip it every time.
  5. Has to be, right? Ye did 208,000 equivalent album units this past week (Nielson Music)
  6. Just grabbed this a few minutes ago...wouldn't let me check out (Unavailable), but after about the tenth time trying it went through. Stoked!
  7. Manchester Orchesta tribute - https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3o4qTAGm03w
  8. This doesn’t look good. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.com/news/amp/uk-scotland-44055054
  9. Listen to this on Spotify every so often and it still blows me away. They kicked the shit out of every band, during that time period, that even remotely tried to do the same thing as them. Saw them in New Orleans with roughly 50,000 other people at a festival. Will never forget the sound of the crowd chanting, “fuck you, I won’t do whatcha tell me!” Really?! I think Zach and the guys sound flawless on this live recording. Does the vinyl itself sound that much different than digital?
  10. Went back and didn’t see this posted. Will be getting. Rage Against The Machine - Live at the Democratic National Convention 2000 Pressing 5000. “Bulls on Parade,” “Testify,” “Guerrilla Radio,” “Sleep Now in the Fire,” “Freedom,” and “Killing in the Name.” https://www.spin.com/2018/03/rage-against-the-machine-live-democratic-national-convention-2000-record-store-day/
  11. This album is fantastic! Only gripe -- Is it just me or was anyone else a little underwhelmed (even hesitant to preorder) by the first 2 singles he chose to release (Forget Me Not & If Your Prayers Don't Go To Heaven)? I feel as if there were other songs that would have been much better choices to release to the masses first. Don't get me wrong, they weren't horrible tracks by any means...they just didn't grab me. BUT, the second I heard Come Wander With Me, I was blown away. Etta James slays. Proof Of Life is definitely one of my favorites. Jesus...the whole record is tight and flows wonderfully. Haven't found a song that my earholes weren't extremely pleased by. I think this is leaps and bounds better than Painkillers (which I enjoyed, but wasn't in love with). Brian seems to be in a really nice groove currently and fingers crossed this transitions into some tasty Gaslight Anthem tunes.

  13. Stoked for the album...listening to TalkTalk now...definitely different, but I can get behind it. Just wish the shirt didn't look like a pile of shit...
  14. They have to, right?! There's no way they can announce a "world tour" and have like 7 shows, lol.
  15. http://www.brooklynvegan.com/the-gaslight-anthem-announce-the-59-sound-world-tour/ It begins...
  16. Thinking of having some Booker's this weekend. I'll keep you in the loop. I was able to snag it for $54 in TX (before tax). Love me some Bulleit Rye! Been a go to of mine for years at the bar. I went to a tasting the other night exclusively for Angel's Envy (at a liquor store) and I'll be damned if Angel's Envy Finished Rye might be one of my favorite Rye Whiskey's I've ever tried. If you haven't had a pour of that...find it. It's worth it. Found it to be SUPER sweet and spicy all at the same time (which I didn't mind)...loved that I had it around Christmas b/c if you could bottle Christmas this would be what it tasted like. Easy to drink.
  17. For sure! I'll definitely let you know what I think of the Weller 12 once I crack it open. I've definitely heard mixed reviews....those that are flat in love with it and others saying it's not worth all the hype.
  18. Alright, gents -- just had a baby and figured I wouldn't be seeing the inside of a bar for a while, so I went ahead and started collecting some bottles for sweet sweet consumption at the homestead. I've never kept anything above Evan Williams black label at the house so I feel like this is a step in the right direction. Got some Glencairn glasses over the holidays and overall am feeling pretty fancy, Feel like I have a pretty good start. What you're seeing currently -- Blanton's Original Single Barrel Stagg Jr. Eagle Rare Single Barrel 375ml Basil Hayden's Rye Whiskey Basil Hayden's Dark Rye Whiskey Weller Antique 107 Weller 12 Jameson Distillery Edition -- Only available from the gift shop in Dublin (won it in a blind auction) Booker's Bulleit Rye Super excited to pop the Weller 12 and Eagle Rare Single Barrel. I'll let y'all know what I think!
