I'm not a tax advisor but yes claim a net 0, don't just not fill out the 1099.  You will get a bill in the mail later with fees and penalties for being delinquent (that are possibly more than what you owed).

Yeah first pressing could have easily have 100s of different matrixes.  Between being pressed at multiple plants and/or just being pressed on multiple machines in one plant.  

For my 1975 LP from Blood they only sent 1 instead of my 2, I messages them and they took care of it pretty quickly.

Thank you for the correction. I had an inkling that I was wrong. All I know is that when they all rolled out I just scoffed at the prices and moved on. 
 

That NIN is just disappointing. One of my favorite albums of all time and limited to 500 but that artwork is rough. But I did grab a few others specifically for the art/artists that the wife and I like.

I bought the box set, but will probably be this weekend before I crack it open.

The language barrier and age were a big part. I've been reading what he has created on his website.
He was an aging collector coming to grips with the reality that his collection was gonna outlive him and was coming to terms with it. Kinda sad that he fell into this pit hole. I respect the guy a little more after getting to know  his intentions a bit more. I don't think this forum was what he was looking for. He's listed several forums that he recommends on his website but I don't think this will be one of them.

I don’t, and I’ve been on here for over a decade.
We even have a sub-board that facilitates the sale of records.
Just in case it needs to be said, selling records ≠ flipping records.  The latter of which has had (and still has) a pretty negative stigma around these parts.
