  1. I've always had a huge soft spot for MHTTRTC, so that's the one I tend to recommend. But, I think Derek is right in saying they're all essential. You really can't pick a bad one to start at.
  2. http://www.amazon.com/Function-Magic-Bullet-Waterproof-Vibrator/dp/B002IIFDJA
  3. I can't imagine having either of my parents setting me up. Thankfully 800 miles (and hopefully their common sense) prevent this from ever being a reality.
  4. Same here. Although metal (and related genres) aren't the most popular on the board, there are a handful of users who are in to it. I'm not sure if there is a vinyl related board that's more focused on metal, but there isn't any reason why we can't work on giving metal more exposure here. Also, OMG Vinyl is great. They don't always have the most timely updates, but they post things that wouldn't hit my radar a lot of the time.
  5. Mine are currently taking up my precious shelf space, but I'm thinking of getting something like this and mounting it on the wall.
  6. I had a '96 Subaru Legacy and it was easily my favorite car I've ever owned. I can also confirm that everything in that ad is completely true.
  7. Same here. If I took a couple month break from buying records, I could probably finish up my arm (it's about half sleeved right now).
  8. I hope someplace does. I'm not sure if this is something I want bad enough to import, but I'd pick it up from a US distributor without a thought.
  9. Same here. Sec, I'm glad to see you're alive and well!
  10. I've had sex at two places I've worked, have also had sex in a girl's office.
  11. Mikal Cronin and Cloud Nothings are the only too that really interest me. I like the concept a lot, most of the artist just don't appeal to me. If I liked two or three more and it was a monthly charge, I'd consider it.
  12. The end of Hot Fuzz too. I listened to some podcasts with Simon Pegg while they were promoting the movie and his accent is so thick, he dials it back quite a bit for movies. It was thick enough where I didn't catch everything he was saying, surprised me. I spent a good chuck of my teens and early twenties watching Clerks (and his other films) repeatedly. I don't know if it still resonates with me like it did then, but it was one of my favorite films for quite a while. I'd recommend trying to track down the Clerks cartoon. It's different, but it was pretty amusing. Chasing Dogma is worth reading (if you like comics). I can't remember if the Clerks comics were good or not, but I want to say there were.
  13. Watched it last night and liked it a lot. I love Edgar Wright's style so much.
  14. One of my favorite things about visiting Canada is getting ketchup chips. My ex-girlfriend was not nearly as impressed with them as I was. I prefer just peanut butter sandwiches too, I stopped using jelly years ago and haven't looked back. In terms of overall condiments, I do not endorse any mayo-based sauces or dressings. The spicier the better, for everything.
  15. You're starting to sound like the beginning of a WTF episode!
  16. I wish Van Alden was in every episode. I like him being involved with the Capones, I have a feeling that's going to lead to good things.
  17. Drank a bunch of Jubelale last night, might be my favorite winter beer. It's definitely my favorite beer from Deschutes.
  18. The first Maybeshewill album is really good, listen to the whole thing in order.
  19. For Sasquatch, the ticket to camp is always separate. One ticket is needed per vehicle. I'd imagine it's the same way for this. If you're on the fence about camping, I'd suggest it. It's a lot of fun and I think that it adds to the whole Gorge experience.
  20. That episode was just what this season needed (and renewed some of my lost faith in the show). I didn't think Clay was going to make it through the season, but I didn't expect it to go down like it did. Definitely surprised me. I think the rest of the season is set up well and should be fun.
  21. Nice! I'm planning on watching that tonight or tomorrow. I'm trying to decide if I want to take on the whole trilogy. I watched The To Do List last night. It was entertaining and it made me laugh, but it was fairly forgettable. It was a good 'drink some beer and shut off my brain' movie.
  22. I use post-rock really loosely, mainly out of laziness. It's about as big of an umbrella term is metal is, covers a lot. I do find it amusing that some bands are so adamant about not being classified as genre X, but I can imagine having your work so easily categorized could be frustrating. But, it's human nature to try and classify everything (hence some of the more obnoxious sub-genres we have these days).
