Quitting Buying Records
radiatorhums replied to Thom Yorkified's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
I use mint.com to keep track of what I've spend on records, only pain is making sure to keep up to date on what cash I spend on music. Trying to keep up with a spreadsheet was too much work for me, I tried that a few years ago. Overall, I think 2011 or 2012 was my most expensive year. I've reigned it in a bit this year and I think I've collected the bulk of my $40+ OOP/rare chase LPs. -
I liked it quite a bit too, I second the recommendation. I watched the two Josh Radnor movies that were mentioned earlier in the thread. I liked Liberal Arts better overall, but I thought they were both worth the time to watch.

Blowout vinyl at GoHastings

My 2 LPs show up today in a mailer with with no additional packaging, everything was in excellent shape. No beat up corners. USPS is a mystery to me. -
PO: Pelican - Forever Becoming

I don't know if I've ever gotten a digital download from a Southern Lord release now that I think about it. The release date is still 10 days away though, so maybe they'll surprise me. -
I like the movies that stick with you for a few days because of how disturbing they are, way better than movies that are scary while you're watching them and that's it. But yeah, I can't really think of a genuinely scary movie that I've seen in a very long time.

Looks like they have a collaboration with Krieg planned as well, seems like they were non-stop this year. I finally got around to listening to the Braveyoung collaboration I picked up at a show last year and it blew me away. I've listened to it at least once a day all week. http://www.invisibleoranges.com/2013/02/the-body-releases-new-material-on-bandcamp/

Off the top of my head, Dead Freight and Crawl Space are my two favorites.

I watch one or two a season just to see if it's changed much and the ones I've seen haven't done much for me. I think the last one I watched had Tim and Eric on it, which was the main reason I watched it. If you have any specific episodes to check out, I'll definitely watch them.

I agree with you there, the initial watching creeped me out too. You guys should check out Martyrs. Not really full on scary, but I thought it was creepy as hell when I watched it. Hard to argue with this :

I lost interested in The Simpsons quite a while ago, quality took a huge dip if you ask me. But that del Toro trailer makes me want to watch the episode, it was really well done.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia [Season 8]
radiatorhums replied to adamlikesmusic's topic in Everything Else Message Board
I liked it quite a bit too, one of the funniest things I think they've done in quite a while. I wish the wouldn't have killed off the character though, he would have been perfect to have pop up randomly. -
Got this on Monday and have been listening to it a couple times a day, the album is fantastic. It's a high contender for one of my favorite albums of 2013.

That's a great idea! I might have to try and play catchup and partake! Watched World War Z and Pacific Rim last night. I enjoyed them both more than I thought I would, but I doubt I'd watch either a second time.

I preordered all three from Amazon and got three emails from them stating that the 12th would be the release date. The one for ++ came quite a bit later than the other two for some reason. -
I can't say it's the only month for me, but it definitely increases in October.

SONS OF ANARCHY Season 6 Thread **Spoilers**
radiatorhums replied to jhulud's topic in Everything Else Message Board
I haven't been digging this season much. The premiere was promising, but it's become pretty mediocre since. I am a little bummed the fat prospect died though, I liked him. I'm glad the marshal is out of it. I'm so worn out on that show making every character 'edgy'. Did he really need to be a heroin user? It did nothing for the character at all. -
BestBuy.com Thread (Updated 5/13)
radiatorhums replied to chutterhanban's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
That doesn't really make any sense to me. Where exactly the IP address is being used isn't public information, the closest that can happen is they can ballpark an area. The ISP would have to be queried to find out what address that IP is being used at and I can't imagine they'd just give it to BestBuy. Also, I cannot answer your questions- 2,164 replies

Eastbound & Down tv series
radiatorhums replied to controlthebleeding's topic in Everything Else Message Board
I was a little weary of the new season, mainly because I thought season three's ending would have worked well for a series finale. Anyway, I thought Sunday's episode was so damn funny. I hope that isn't the only time Heidecker makes an appearance, he plays the perfect boring suburban white guy. I think the idea of Kenny being contained for so long and then finally unleashing is going to make for a good season. I did really like the tackle box full of drugs too, that cracked me up. -
Their LPs aren't too hard to track down and aren't usually too expensive, it's those cassettes limited to 30 that are the real hard ones to find.
