  1. Another new track : http://www.decibelmagazine.com/featured/mutoid-man-scrapes-the-walls/
  2. They've had something out the last three RSDs, not sure about Black Friday RSD though. I'd say the odds are decent that it'll get a physical release.
  3. I snagged a used pink copy at my local record store in 2010 (I think) for $10-12. Didn't realize the price for this had sky rocketed.
  4. Haven't listened to the new album yet, but I can say the other two are definitely worth looking into. They're both great.
  5. http://boards.vinylcollective.com/topic/90904-touche-amore-is-survived-by-lp-coming-092413/page-105#entry1640329
  6. Mine showed up today and 2/3rds of them were warped. The other one is a bit, but it doesn't affect playback luckily. On my second listen now, album is really good. Sent an email to Deathwish, I'm sure they'll straighten things out. Kind of a bummer though.
  7. The attention to detail is absurd. Here's another thing that wasn't overlooked : http://www.avclub.com/articles/of-course-that-phone-number-from-last-nights-break,103228/
  8. Done and done. I would have done it much sooner, but I completely forgot I started this thread!
  9. Watch it in the hotel (or wherever your staying). I made my poor ex-girlfriend watch it on my iPad when were travelling last year. I would have watched it on my phone if it came down to it. Also, it appears that they actually wrote the mock article about Grey Matter that was being discussed on the television : http://dealbook.nytimes.com/2013/09/23/breaking-bad-the-gray-matter-of-charity/
  10. The Locrian collaboration was fantastic, some of the best work both artists have done. Metis/Amaranthine/The Emperor is an incredible song. I've got most of their stuff, but I think most of the tapes will elude me eternally. I'll have to wait until I get paid for this, hopefully the clear will still be around. I sadly have to miss them when they're playing here, due to work. Luckily, Aaron and Faith live around here, so Mamiffer or House of Low Culture tend to play opening sets periodically.
  11. I'm the same way. Unless it's a really long wait between download and the album reaching my hands, I usually wait. I think All We Love was the last release I couldn't wait on. Really looking forward to getting this and playing the hell out of it. What a ridiculously good year for Deathwish releases.
  12. Grabbed the rivers of blood variant and a few I've been slacking on getting. Didn't expect this up so soon! Mine timed out after PayPal too, but it looks like the order was created. Edit : Tre, does it differ in terms of fees for you guys if I pay with PayPal or my debit/credit card? I usually pay with PayPal so I don't have to find my wallet, but if it saves you guys a bit I'd have no problem paying with my card directly.
  13. I'm going to keep an eye out for that, sounds fantastic.
  14. I need to pick both of their releases up, Brutal Panda always puts out quality material.
  15. I'm glad the Masuka's daughter story arc got the fitting ending it deserved.
  16. The last minute or two was beautifully done. I love the idea of Walt being trapped in the cabin with his only money, the last thing he really has left. Todd drinking tea at the cafe made me laugh, his character is very intriguing to me (much like Gale was). I haven't formulated any thoughts on where the next episode will go. Grey Matter being brought back into the picture was a curve ball. I'm going to miss this show, but I'm glad it's going out on top.
  17. I'm with you monsterrod, I dig a good sour. I had New Belgium's La Folie earlier today and really enjoyed it. I also had Speakeasy's Big Daddy Wet Hop IPA. It was good, but nothing special. I feel that way about everything I've had from them though.
  18. I got mine today. The split colors look really good. Mine got lightly damaged in shipping, but it really wasn't noticeable. Really disappointing they shipped these out in bubble mailers with no reinforcement, a little cardboard would have helped. The EP is pretty rad. It definitely falls pretty close to Pig Destroyer (imagine that) on the grindcore scale of things, but I don't think that's a bad thing. I hope this project isn't a one off thing, I'd definitely buy further releases from the group.
  19. I have the haze too, traded away my blue/orange. I think that's the first time I set my alarm to snag a record.
  20. Ah, damn. Just double checked and you are correct. Shows how reliable my memory is!
  21. Just watched Iron Man 3, it was ok for what it was. It didn't seem to hold my attention completely and I found myself dicking around online a lot though. Edit : Just watched all the episodes of Tiny Commando. I thought it was entertaining and a lot of familar faces pop up (Nick Kroll, Tim Heidecker, Thomas Lennon). Worth taking the 45 minutes it takes to watch them all.
  22. This was kind of amusing, avoid if it you're not caught up though : http://www.funnyordie.com/videos/3312edf54c/hank-schrader-what-happens-next
  23. I started at the beginning and found The Freed Man and Weed Forestin to be my favorites, but I really like lo-fi 4 track recordings too. You could start anywhere really, all of it's good.
  24. This episode got more laughs out of me than possibly all of the last season combined. It didn't really wow me, but there were a couple really funny moments (Charlie coming out of the floor, high on paint was great).
