  1. Ordered. Blue Moon is fantastic, definitley see where the Sea Change comparisons are coming from.
  2. Waiting for someone to post Throwing Copper today.
  3. Go to Harvard Square. Get burgers and beer at Tasty Burger. Shop at Armageddon and Newbury Comics. Go to Union Square. Shop at Somerville Grooves. Get pizza and beer (and play video games) at Area Four. There. Planned a whole day.
  4. Lots of Descendants and Deftones. I was debating between Deltron 3030 and D4...went with Del.
  5. Late to the game, but cool! http://instagram.com/mmelia
  6. Bought this in 2010 as well. Actually gave it a spin not to long ago and liked it more than I did back then. Still easily their weakest album, but worth another play.
  7. It's up: http://ilovestvincent.com/preorder/ Get ready to pay outrageous topspin shipping.
  8. Yeah, it seems crazy that they haven't repressed those ones yet. I've been lucky enough to find them in random shops for not too much money. Just need Stink now.
  9. Sorry if this was already posted, but I just noticed this on Insound, haven't seen it anywhere else: http://www.insound.com/Dont-Tell-A-Soul-Vinyl-LP-The-Replacements/P/INS126984/ "VINYL FORMAT. Limited edition of 500 copies, pressed on black/clear swirl vinyl! Fans were expecting a record of radio hits, and radio was expecting more punk rock antics with the Replacements’ second major label record, Don’t Tell A Soul, originally released in 1989. Somehow they were both right, and sadly, like many great and creatively expansive albums, this record was overlooked upon its initial release by the dedicated fan and the newcomer. Twenty years later, most fans and critics agree that songs such as “Achin’ to Be,” the haunted “Rock ‘n’ Roll Ghost,” the sweetly self-mythologizing “Talent Show,” and “I’ll Be You,” are probably among the best songs performed in the 1990’s."
  10. Actually, it is kinda all opaque. Never really seen one like it!
  11. Dang, one of the coolest looking variants I've seen (sounds great too, of course). Nice work! It's not totally opaque. Picture doesn't really do it justice.
  12. Pumped I was able to grab one. Twins is my favorite Ty album, so I'm really interested to hear these versions.
  13. Tried to order this from Nonesuch (looked like shipping was free) with one of the Mermaid Avenue reissues, but their site is broken or something. Will try again later. EDIT: Maybe it's just me then.
  14. Thanks for the recommendations! I'm staying by the convention center. I plan on checking out Preservation Hall and hopefully some other music.
  15. Thanks! I'm not exactly sure what area I'll be in, but I'll check out those if I see them. I do plan on eating and drinking everything.
  16. Somewhat related, I'll be visiting New Orleans for the first time in December. Any stores I need to check out?
  17. This album is insanely good. Between this and the Mind Spiders it's ALMOST as good as having the Marked Men back. Will definitely be buying once it's up.
  18. Ugh, was hoping to avoid this, but I really want Mermaid Avenue vol 1...and probably All Shook Down.
  19. Didn't expect another album from them so soon, but I'll take it! First 300 on red: http://www.greennoiserecords.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=30253&osCsid=1bb138bafbcd499b96eb9896d420589e Looks like they're shipping now.
  20. Via Tiny Engines 105 Blue w/ White + Green Starburst 130 Transparent Fiery Orange 150 Transparent Light Blue 215 Opaque Gray Don't be a dummy and sleep on this! I think a lot of people here will dig it. New song here: http://www.altpress.com/features/entry/song_premiere_save_ends_we_are_the_only_ones
  21. $10 AND crazy exploding shipwreck vinyl?! What am I some kind of idiot? Ordered.
  22. Picked this up today. As expected, there's really nothing to the package/labels (which makes finding the right side hard), but it sounds great.
