The Mondo newsletter only mentioned three color variants (Mondo, ETR, and retail) so I'm guessing we're looking at that. Someone earlier mentioned reading that retail was gonna be red, so that checks out as well.

Real tempted to go with standard black on this release. It’s such a classic look with that Playtone center label.

Either these pressings are fairly limited or flippers are buying crazy multiples. Either way, that's wild.

Probably trying to erase proof of it's existence before AFI gets wind of it. From what I understand they are pretty wild about their discography not getting repressed.

Collectors gonna collect. Limited pressing amounts on the colored vinyl is a major factor on aftermarket prices as well.

I’d wager a guess that about 50% of newer collectors are in it solely for the aesthetic, so yeah, the limited colors are definitely worth more to them.

Hard bummer for the 120 folks who owned an OG pressing and didn't sell as soon as GJ announced the repress.

As a customer I know it’s inconvenient having a random on-sale time, but them specifying the exact time basically renders this drop impossible. Anyone with a head on their shoulders was gonna be on the site at noon EST anyways just in case, but at least there’d be a FEW less people trying.

Are there more variants being released from other retailers?

I'm sure the licensing terms have something to do with it.
