  1. Obviously you can't read.... don't talk if you don't care. We'll be fine without your help broseph. I just think one copy should be in our family's hands if its possible. Imagine you just found a family relic and couldn't afford it. What would you do? I'm just giving it a shot. This forum cracks me up.
  2. You probably shouldn't shit and giggle... just sayin'. It never ends well.
  3. So everyone on GoFundMe is not working hard enough? I feel bad for all of those folks who are losing family members in tragic accidents and trying to get wheelchairs for crippled infants.... Those folks should really work harder eh? I contribute 10% to charity every month so that I can receive the same in return by folks who care. If you don't care, then don't talk. Its simple.
  4. We're just broke and looking for help. We want the record bad enough to pay $500, but we don't have it. Parking tickets get paid on GoFundMe so I figured, why not?! Again, we aren't noobs to LPs... we are just broke.
  5. We are just trying to get it crowd funded that's all. If 500 people gave a dollar we would have it without any problem. I am definitely super cheap. When you start racking up all of the bills, $500 sounds pretty out of the picture. As far as people arguing about who our dad is in the pictures, I'm pretty sure my wife's dad knows who he is lol. Plus the whole family looks like him... big and ugly. haha don't tell my wife. But seriously, those pics are definitely him. I am trying to get more confirmation on the details from Ken Hitchcock (another original member) and trying to find more pics. Its a cool story nonetheless and good music. I also appreciate the idea on the comps, but comps suck. OG is where its at. Glad you all are getting a rouse of it. Its been entertaining and amusing.
  6. Hey guys... I am asking for $540 because GoFundMe charges you money as well as some company they use to for each donation made. Thanks for the input. I was just asking for a bit of help. btw... all of those pictures are of Paul Box. I do have a job as a teacher and my wife runs funkylittleshop on instagram. Neither of our jobs is enough to be able to afford $500 right now. I know its hard to believe, but we live pretty much paycheck to paycheck like 90% of America. If you can't help, you can't help.
  7. http://www.gofundme.com/dad-sixdeep Please help!!... We want The Six Deep "Girl Its Over/ I Must Go" 45 on De'Lynn Records label. We aren't sure how to get this thing started really, so we are sharing this where ever we can. We are in desperate need of getting my Dad's super rare 45 rpm record for his 70th birthday. Unfortunately it is way out of my wife and I's price range. Dad, like most hippies, didn't keep any of his old music stuff and moved on to a professional career. We just recently found out he was even in a band! Please contribute to our GoFundMe and definitely spread the word! Thanks for your help VC! http://www.gofundme.com/dad-sixdeep
  8. This item is NM- to VG+ (depending on how much of a stickler you are). No visible signs of wear on any part of this EP (sleeve or vinyl). Marigold Records release of the Empty Soda Can 7" by Lance's side-project, Cilantro. It's four-track recordings of 6 J Church songs that never made it to official releases. VERY RARE!! Lance Hahn: A Hawaii resident transplanted to LA, San Francisco and now Austin, TX, Lance started out his recording career in Cringer then formed J Church in SF in 1991, alongside schoolfriend and Cringer band-mate Gardner Maxam. Lance is now the sole original member of the group. He is a long-time contributor to MaximumRock'n'Roll and wrote a book on the early anarcho punk scene in the UK. Musically, he has released a solo acoustic record under the name 'Cilantro' (after his favourite smell), was Beck's touring guitarist in 1994-5 and was in the final line-up of Bay Area pop-punk band Monsula in the early 1990s. He has also run Honey Bear Records (named after Winnie The Pooh) since 1994. The Honey Bear site has a detailed biography of all Lance's pre-J Church bands. **J Church is no more. Lance Hahn, co-founder, singer, guitarist, songwriter, the embodiment of J Church, died on 21 October 2007** Please respond to this post for more details and pics!! Other sales / feedback info that I have can be found at FunkyLittleGnome on Etsy (an online store run by me and my wife).
