  1. Thanks...seeing all the rad setups inspired me to not only post mine, but also to get one of the Expedit units as soon as I can. The DJ boxes are cool, but are un-stackable, which I didn't think of when I bought them, but the fact that they have lids with a handle make them great for transporting the records.
  2. I had to chime in on this one...I too live with the folks while I am in school, but still manage to do my thing. I am sorta running out of room though with all my gear in the room, I have more space dedicated to records than to sleeping... 7-inches (the one out front is my band's 7-inch, just pressed this year...shameless plug, I know ) 10 & 12-inches...I have 3 more cardboard boxes stashed in the living room similar in size to the ones that are underneath the "middle row" (which are not being crushed by the black DJ-style cases on top despite the fact that it appears otherwise). I do need one of those ikea gimmicks though...
  3. It's all good...it was the first thing that jumped at me, as I don't keep track of what is oop or not...how about that "Stankonia" set?

  5. Would you be willing to trade a sealed copy of the clear w/magenta for your "De-Loused..." 2xLP?
  6. Before or after the saviour got involved? are you talking about jesus? Check these out folks... http://cgi.ebay.com/Fifteen-EP-Liberation-Lookout-Records-Operation-Ivy_W0QQitemZ320277213918QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item320277213918&_trksid=p3286.m14.l1318 http://cgi.ebay.com/FIFTEEN-Liberation-L.... 3286.m14.l1318 anyone have a lead on a nice copy of swain's first bike ride?
  7. 'tis the truth...but hey, to each their own.
  8. Check out www.urpressing.com and www.iloveimprint.com you can get prices from those websites without having to wait for a personal quote. I'm doing the Git Some LP with those places and so far this is approx what it has cost me Pressing (includes everything; mastering, plating, red vinyl etc) $1400 (500 copies) Gatefold cover (full color inside and out) with printed inner sleeve (black and white): $2300 (1000 of each) Check with United Record Pressings...they usually have decent specials going on...my band pressed 1000 7-inches through them (500 on translucent green and 500 on multi-colored marble) for a bit over $1100 for just the records in white paper dust sleeves. Here ya go: http://www.urpressing.com/specials.php We were hand assembling (folding and hot gluing) our jackets from cardstock with the images laser printed on them for free through my school, but I can only print 5 whole sleeves per day (10 free color prints per day, 1 front, 1 back). I think I want to get some printed professionally to save some time and trouble, as doing 1000 the way we are will take forrrrreeevvvveeeeerrrr
  9. Reading this thread has made me even more excited for this record. I ordered it along with a pre-order item, so I will have to wait a bit, which is fine with me. Besides, the only thing better than getting a rad record is getting THREE rad records.
  10. Here is my Adrenalin O.D. collection (all on black vinyl), which is far from "complete", but are still great records by a great band. If anyone has a copy of the "Let's Barbecue" 7-inch who isn't looking to rob me blind, drop me a PM.
  11. Figured I would chime in with what I am expecting the USPS to deliver in the near future. I will cross things out when they arrive just for kicks...I can't help but feel right at home with all you vinyl-aholics 1: Boris - "Smile" 2xLP Southern Lord Press (black /3000) 2: Minutemen - "Paranoid Time" 7-inch (green) 3: Schwarzenegger - "Take Your Elbows Off the Table/Today" and "Goodbye To All That/Child of the Times" 7-inches (probably on black...) 4: Baroness - "The Red Album" 2xLP (red) 5: Zoroaster - "Dog Magic" LP (black) 6: Zoroaster - "Zoroaster" 12-inch EP (gray/black splatter on white) The following include pre-order items, hence they may take a little longer than the above items: 7: Matt and Kim - "To/From" 10-inch (probably on black...) 8: The Gaslight Anthem - "The '59 Sound" LP (blue + shirt) 9: Ninja Gun - "Restless Rubes" LP (opaque peach) 10: Pink Lincolns - "Back From the Pink Room" remastered LP (black/pink)
  12. lol...me too! I have been waiting for this one for a while as well, and was unable to catch them with Boris when they were in Orlando or Gainesville. Tampa sure can suck sometimes... :
