  1. Is there a reason why some Paramore LPs go for so much money? Are there really that many people looking to buy and play a Paramore album or is more because of their growth and fame? No trolling - honest question. I bought a few records a while back and could not believe how much they go for now.
  2. Wow for $50 I would have gotten that if it wasn't sold out. Would have liked to hear it on vinyl.
  3. This is just a random rage venting and who knows, maybe I'm wrong. I'm going through my records and just looking at them for the first time in a while and it brings me back to some random rage I get when I buy certain records, more importantly when I buy multiple variants of the same at one time. I remember when the first pressing of Brand New's The Devil and God...came out and I was quick to pick up a copy of each. Sure enough they got sent to me and non of them were labeled which color. I guess I could have just made a small slit but instead I basically started opening one after the other until the last one was left. It felt kind of like Russian roulette as I was sitting there hoping the last one would be the most limited pressing, which it was not. Anyone else have similar beef?
  4. Completely forgot how I got them but I have two TBS pressings from their first two albums. That and Boys Night Out pressing.
  5. yeah that helps alot. I'm kinda ocd about certain things...and since starting to list my collection, I've found that using both "clear" and "transparent" is driving me mad since I've seen both words used to describe the same record.
  6. Would you say that people are using the term "translucent" as a record that maybe almost see through where as true clear is one that you see right through?
  7. Probably a silly question, but can these two words be used interchangeably when describing a record? If not, what is the difference?
  8. Yes it looks like the one in black with the orange center. Is the orange part considered the lable? I'll take a picture ofit when I return but Iw as pretty sure I didn't purcahse it in 2008 when the repress was done. When I go home I'll take a look at the barcode, if there is one and post it. Thanks!
  9. This may have been posted already but I could not see it. For those of us who are OCD, is there any way to change the order of your collection, so that I could arrange my collection by release date. All I can think of is deleting it and just adding them in the way I want from scratch.
  10. Thanks for the reply. I do not think its the 2008 repress. I purcahsed it a while back, sometime around 2003 and instead of being a orange and black swirl, it's entirely all black except for the middle of the record which is solid orange.
  11. Hey guys. Casual collector whose just beginning to go back and look at all my records and re-chronalize them. Some of my first purcahses when I started collecting were of Alkaline Trio. At the time I purcahsed a few variants of their 1999 release "Maybe Ill Catch Fire". I'm trying to figure out how many were released of each variant. Discogs says 1000 were printed on both black and orange. I have those but also have one that is black, with an orange center. Anyone know if this was a later pressing or part of one of the mentioned above? Thanks.
