  1. I was wondering that too. I saw his red carpet interview with Carson Daly and Chevy was pretty incoherent and sweaty. Said it was from rushing through the crowds but I dunno if that's really it.
  2. Just catching up to the "live" version on my PVR. For a great actor, DeNiro sure is fucking awful at reading cue cards...
  3. I thought that the first Baby Eagle record (the pink one) was a bit of... uh.. a challenging listen, but I like Bone Soldiers. No Blues is a fun little album too. Didn't know that there was a Shotgun Jimmie connection to the band.
  4. Some of the guys from Attack in Black also now play as the backing band for City and Colour as well as Baby Eagle (Steve Lambke from Constantines), if that piques anyone's interest in the band too.
  5. Their early stuff is pretty loud scrappy punk rock. Check out the song "Cut and Run" from Widows.
  6. Alright! Attack in Black first album + Widows! Definitely in for the bundle now. Looks like preorders open again on the 17th at noon.
  7. Pretty good episode. I liked the cameos from the past characters. Ha! I said the exact same thing.
  8. Will you guys be doing a non-picture disc release of The Walking Dead Vol. 2?
  9. I've found MapleMusic pretty good to deal with. Their prices are decent ($15-$20) and there's a local pick-up option for Toronto people. http://maplemusic.com/ Never ordered from them but I check Northern Volume from time to time. Prices are so-so but they have a lot of stuff. http://www.northernvolume.com/ But, wherever possible, I'm basically sticking to local shops/labels and Amazon.ca these days. Shipping costs from the US have always sucked but now everything is like 25% more expensive with the exchange. I swear it's cheaper to order from the UK than the US.
  10. Also curious about this. My fingers are crossed for some Attack in Black goodies.
  11. Looks like these guys have it: http://www.rhinorecords.ca/shop/products/Vinyl+Catalog/PID-128185717.aspx Not sure what shipping would be like to the UK.
  12. Hmm. I PM'd my info on the 19th and haven't gotten an email yet.
  13. No problem! Now that I'm on the page I might pick one up for myself too.
  14. Isn't the 7" still available from SideOneDummy? http://www.sideonedummy.com/shop/bands/pup-reservoir-my-shadow-7-black-vinyl/
  15. The Royal Mountain pressing is just black vinyl. No idea how many were pressed.
  16. That does look nice! I'm on the fence for $50 at Amazon, though it is a 3LP. I guess that's what Christmas money is for.
  17. Please help me fill these gaps in my collection! I am looking for: The Deadly Snakes - Real Rock and Roll Tonight 7" Attack in Black - Northern Towns 7" Attack in Black - self titled CD If you have these and are willing to part with them for some money, please let me know.
  18. I'd like to join the email list too. Really interested in the Earthbound soundtrack.
  19. I'm actually enjoying tonight's episode for a change. Maybe it's because I wasn't expecting much from Martin Freeman. I thought last week's episode with James Franco was a bit of a let down. They only sketch I liked was the Tad Rankin one.
  20. I was going to post the same thing. She seemed pretty genuine about how upset she was to be leaving the show and her castmates.
  21. Since it looks like you're in Toronto... Sunrise Records promotes the hell out of their participation in RSD events but I find that Sonic Boom actually has more selection and better prices.
