  1. Links for download were emailed out to backers today and the LP's are supposed to ship in about 2 weeks! Outside of the Kickstarter backers, the album will be released through Superego Records. Sept 8 for digital release and later in September for physical media. For anyone wondering, the final tracklist in the download is: 1. Moon out of Phase 2. Used to Believe 3. Can't Go Back 4. The Future (Is Learning To..) 5. William Weld in the 21st Century 6. The Nazarene 7. Run to the City 8. Gray Havens 9. Make Me Feel Loved 10. The Smug Little Supper Club 11. Anthems of None 12. You're Like Me 13. Lonsdale Avenue 14. Let's Stay on the Moon
  2. Wow, looks like the frosted variant sold out already.
  3. Awesome! Pre-ordered the frosted copy. I still drink my morning coffee from the RAA mug I got with the PO from Mended with Gold.
  4. So that's where those song came from! I couldn't figure out where in DKC those 8-bit sounding tracks were from. It all makes sense now.
  5. I saw the one on eBay. Shipping to Canada is $30 US which just adds insult to injury to the fact this pressing wasn't released in Canada in the first place. I messaged simple_torture so hopefully they can help me out.
  6. I listen to my purple YFIIP pretty often and it sounds great to me. Still trying to find a red s/t, if anyone knows where to find one or is willing to part with theirs.
  7. I ordered on July 17. I'll just sit tight for a little bit longer.
  8. I've been no-so-patiently waiting for my box set for a little over two weeks. My order status on Waste says "fulfilled" but does it change to "shipped" when it's actually mailed out?
  9. Nice! I have the RSD edition from a few years back so I may sit this one out. I already spend too much keeping up with Daniel Romano's projects anyway. I got to see them near the end of their run, supporting the Constantines during their 10 year anniversary tour. Good times. Just also noting this ships October 20.
  10. Whatever happened to Babadook? I thought it was supposed to be ready in May.
  11. I wonder what price they're selling it for... I finally ended my weeks of hand wringing and ordered the set from Waste on Monday after my wife said it was OK
  12. No kidding. I almost pulled the trigger for $65ish CAD on eBay a couple weeks ago. $25 would have been amazing. I got a call too and June only had black copies. Listing was incorrect and has now been updated. The hunt continues.
  13. Oh no. I wonder if there was a typo on the website and they were all black. I ordered last night and no one has contacted me yet. Just got an email saying order fulfilled and ready for pickup. I'll head over there at lunch to see what's up.
  14. Yep, mine was the same. The girl got it from a different room and it was already packaged and bagged with my name on it. If you're nearby it wouldn't hurt to just stop by and ask. They have a nice office. There's some cool memorabilia up on the walls and an awesome translucent glass thing of the s/t artwork. Side note - I just found out that June Records has copies of the red pressing of the s/t album. Collection is one step closer to complete ☺
  15. I picked mine up from the A&C office during lunch and I'm keeping it boxed up until I get home tonight. I didn't really like Forgiveness Rock Record (I LOVE the self-titled) so I'm hoping it's a little different. How do you guys think it stacks up against their other albums? *edit* Had a chance to spin it tonight and my favourite songs are "Mouth Guards of the Apocalypse", "Stay Happy", "Old Dead Young", and "Towers and Masons". I guess YFIIP and s/t will always have their place in the discography so there's no need to remake them. Now I'm curious how much influence Dave Newfeld had on those two records. I'd just love to hear these guys make another song like "Almost Crimes" or "Ibi Dreams of Pavement".
  16. Mine is still in my order history today but shows up as "pending". Post back when you hear from them.
  17. I'm doing local pickup at A&C's office and I haven't heard anything from them yet either. Maybe they're waiting until Friday. *edit* When I log into my account through the Arts & Crafts website, it doesn't show up in my order history either; all I see is the downloads. However, if I go through the link in my order confirmation email it's there.
  18. The night variant of the LP is now up on fab.ca so fingers crossed that it'll be available in brick and mortar stores.
  19. I want that box set so badly but I've had so many ups and downs with money in the past two weeks. Every time think I'm good to place my order, something shitty happens. I've been listening to OK Computer a lot lately and I forgot what a special place in time it represents. Hopefully it'll be like the AMSP set and still be up for order for a while.
  20. I don't think he's released the tracklist yet other than it's a total of 14 songs. From the last email, it sounds like the B sides of the 7"'s will be a mix of songs and instrumentals.
  21. Hmm. Looks like the PO links for Metroid and DKC are both gone.
  22. I hoped to see something about DKC every time I check this thread. So happy to get this soundtrack.
  23. Anybody see BSS at Field Trip this weekend? Did they have any promo merch for the new album?
