  1. @agvinyl I like seeing what you all are listening to. Hope you enjoy my feed as well.
  2. "Records for the 3rd pressing will ship closer to August" lol
  3. Did anyone get their orange 2 Demos yet? Weren't they supposed to ship weeks ago? I emailed Captured Tracks twice about it and haven't received a response
  4. Wait, are they actually pressing new test pressings? Isn't the novelty of owning a test pressing the fact that it was made before all of the rest? I mean, it's cool that they're going above and beyond to correct this for everyone that had bad luck with their order, but i still find it sort of odd... never heard of a label doing this before
  5. I need this record and am willing to pay generously for it (within reason ) Hit me up if you have it and are willing to part with it. I'm sure we can work out a price.
  6. I don't find it to be a problem at all. I don't think the first five actually went out, so I guess whatever number people have on their test, they can subtract 5 and that's the one they have. That's what I'll probably do at least
  7. This is the answer, without a doubt. Rich Balling put up Tiger's 1/25 TP on his Instagram. I highly doubt that one would be made available to the public, and the next four are probably in the hands of the remaining band members.
  8. Some of the information in this thread is incorrect. The interludes are not from the reissue. This is the original version of Tiger and the Duke complete with original mixes of the tracks and original interludes, except for the remix of The Heretic of course. I'm torn because I love the original version of the album, especially due to the nostalgia factor but the mixes are so much better on the reissue. I've also grown to love some of the new interludes. Altogether though I'm really pleased to finally own this on vinyl.
  9. Anyone have a copy of this they'd be willing to sell?
  10. Got my gold copy yesterday. The difference in sound quality between this one and the OG is astronomical. I've seen some reviews in the last few days of people not too impressed by the difference, and I have to wonder what kind of turntable/system they are playing theirs on, because I was seriously freaking out in disbelief last night over how good it sounded. So many nuances to the music and the production that I've never noticed before, and I've listened to this album hundreds of times in the last decade. As for the packaging, it's not as good as the OG, but not terrible. The sleeves are paper this time instead of cardboard, and it's pretty frustrating to get the sleeves in and close the gatefold; either the records go in too far and keep it from closing easily, or not far enough and the sleeves stick out. A small price to pay for how good this sounds though. Looking forward to Amp and Frances.
  11. Anyone have a copy they'd be willing to sell?
  12. Ready to buy a Tiger and the Duke gatefold when you are ready to sell. I ordered a test press bundle - just let me know where to send the money!
