no joke: new variant just popped up at German mailorder Flight13. EDIT: total amount of 500 copies for this variant, 200 thereof in Germany with 100 being available from Flight13. what the hell... also, 28€ plus shipping. This is getting insane.

seriously hoping for something cheaper on Amazon DE. I don't know whether I could justify that number in pound, let alone the € equivalent.

yep, that's true. Kingsroad EU confirmed that the two colored EU variants do NOT come with the embossed cover. Not sure what to think of this. It might be also possible that the EU black is the same as the US black (same variant, same sleeve) and might therefore turn out as sonically inferior to the colored (read: "genuine") EU pressings. This is pure speculation of course.

I'd be super bummed, too. Regardless, as I really don't see it coming, I ordered a copy on pink. They also have pretty cool other records in stock, I was able to snag a /200 variant (Black w/ white splatter) of Dads' I'll Be The Tornado LP for very cheap along with it. Hope this turns out well for all of us non-black-vinyl buyers!

good point, I just checked and all of the US variants are also declared as "deluxe 2xLP". so I really don't see why EU pink and EU green should not be the same.

I'd say you're right, but as far as I remember the same description was given for ALL of the US variants, too. So there wouldn't really be a point in manufacturing a different, standard sleeve just for two lousy EU variants.

EU store now says that the "Black Deluxe" variant is out of 500 copies. No info given on the other variants though. It also has the description for the special gatefold (same as the US store), but only on the page for the black variant not for the others. I assume, though, that the sleeve will be the same for all variants.

also, variants have been specified (without pressing info): white/solid pink mixed vinyl white/transparent green mixed vinyl black deluxe vinyl wonder what the "deluxe" means for the black as its missing for hte other variants. probably 180gr treatment.

I don't think they are sold out, so far it's just the listing and the possibility to order them will be added further down the road, I suppose.

was just about to post this. Also a new shirt is up with the "new style" logo. Will most probably go for the pink.

excited for this, will wait for Kingsroads EU variant/pre-order to drop.

the 7" wasn't available yet at yesterday night's show, but one of them told me that they will have it from today on (tour date at Bielefeld, Germany). I was delighted to see, though, that they were having the Dark Mountain LP with them, a record that I - for whatever reason - could not find in any German distro so far. Also, the new material they played sounded really interesting. There were even clear vocals which was suprising but they made it fit in quite well. I'm eager to hear the studio recordings of this!

thanks for the heads-up! Like I said before, I was on the fence about the purchase, and have now made it anyway. Still, I don't think it's silly to want to go for the more neat-looking package if there is a choice whatsoever. But yeah, no need to crack open the same old discussions again and again, so let's leave it at this.

a different mix.. of what? music-wise? or color grading? also, this indicates that there is another version (of a different color presumably) of this? Some clarification would be appreciated! Otherwise, I have ordered a copy of this so hopefully I will be able to let you know soon.

can anybody give info whether there is a newer pressing on black vinyl apart from the well-known seafoam green 1st press variant? I have seen some copies that didn't have the hype sticker on them stating it is colored vinyl. I'm on the fence about buying this, but in case of the purchase I'd like my copy to be in that nice, fitting color any help would be much appreciated!

seeing them thursday in Germany, hopefully they will already have the new 7" singles with them. Brian confirmed to me on IG that they were hoping for them to arrive in time for the euro tour. No surprise I'd be all over it.

that wouldn't make much sense to me. I can totally understand people holding out until their physical copy arrives. but a stream has only disadvantages compared to a digital download (read: leak) if the quality is right (which is the case). Not criticizing you by any means, I just think if you can wait for the stream to drop you should probably hold out a bit longer until your record arrives before putting up with 128kb/s stream quality.
