People seem really split on the quality of this pressing on discogs. Anyone with a standard black copy have thoughts?

I have the color version from their website and it sounds perfectly fine.  Heads and shoulders better than the original mix repress I have.  This is one of my all time favorite albums and I'm not mad about what they did with it.

But Muse doesn't have top 10 or 20 singles anymore, far from it actually. I don't care about billboard charts etc. but Coldplay is the only band who still stands beside the big pop acts in that regard and is actually a band on stage who sells out the big arenas, that combination of those two things is something that used to be normal for big bands, nowadays they're the only band who can do it for some reason. Bands like U2 can't make it onto the charts anymore either.

U2's Songs of Experience charted at #1 in the US.

Techincally a second pressing of the reissue. Fingers crossed for the same thing to happen to Ten Silver Drops even though there were pressing issues/people grousing about the per-side runtime the first time around. All the local record stores carried the first reissue of Now Here Is Nowhere so I didn't preorder TSD. Meanwhile local stores carried like one copy of the TSD reissue at most, and it sold out before I got my hands on it.

The previous reissue was Run Out Groove not MOV.  As far as I can tell this  is their first MOV.

Did anyone compare them with the "Blackened" previous remasters series of 2016-2018? I believe they must sound the same because the same person "Chris Bellman" cut and the previous remasters too. If anyone has compare them, please leave a message.

I only had Ride The Lightning to compare too.  They sounded similar to me except my Walmart version had some clicking during Fade to Black which was a pressing defect.  Of course I couldn't get a replacement to see if it was any better but I haven't see any others complaining about it so it must be an isolated problem.

There's no maybe, the person who did the art said there will be more a few posts before yours. Nothing wrong with paying a premium for Newbury (that is a nice variant) but I'm always gonna point out there are/will be cheaper options when it isn't obvious.

Fair enough.  I didn't connect that that was who did the artwork.  That's pretty cool.  Usually I don't order from Newbury for the reasons you pointed out but they got me at a time where I'm super into the album and couldn't find a copy to buy.  They win this round.
