It has a broken release clamp should i still get it?

I recently got interested into vinyl collecting my budget for a turntable is 100-200. I found this one on kijiji http://www.kijiji.ca/v-electronics/city-of-toronto/at-lp120-usb-audio-technica-usb-turntable/1020404815. Is it worth it? In Canada this thing cost 300 dollars brand new.
