Have you got a source for this rumour? If this is true then that'd be great. Also, is anyone able to comment on the quality of the original Clear EP pressing? I can't say I've ever spun a picture disc, assume they can be a bit hit and miss??

Looks like Lord Dying are the first to get the silver vinyl treatment. 250 of them. Seeing Mastodon play at Brixton Academy on Friday. What do you guys think are the chances of them selling the picture disc at the gig? I assume they probably won't? I won't be able to get out to a shop all weekend. I guess if they don't I'll try my luck online, can't see it selling out fast...

Hope so! I almost hope they do a re-issue box set, although I'm not sure my wallet would take the strain... I can't really speak for the rest of those re-issues, but the Deluxe copy of Remission sounds amazing in my opinion. I'd heard that the previous copy sounded terrible though, and to be honest, even comparing the digital versions I found the original to sound pretty shitty, so I don't know if perhaps that has more to do with the mastering that was done at the time...?

So I saw the link below on Relapse's Facebook page, and thought it might be an idea to start a thread so we can all speculate on what will be released, and just generally go ape-shit in excitement over the prospect of long out of print releases being pressed. Not only that, but it seems there will be extremely limited silver presses of everything next year (my guess would be that each silver press would be limited to 25 copies). Which will no doubt be extremely popular. Hoping that Leviathan gets the deluxe treatment, just as Remission did. Maybe some good Death re-issues as well. Also thinking that Baroness' Blue Record will get a repress, considering the Red Album has just been done, and Blue hasn't been repressed in a while... That's a good point, and in fact here in the UK it's now legal to copy music from one format to another, provided it's for personal use, and you own the product (e.g. you've not rented it). Technically you could download a copy provided you already own it on vinyl, regardless of whether the label provide a download code or not. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-29448058

Have to say I'm really excited for this album. The previews on YouTube sound great. Got a much more Porcupine Tree feel to it. I liked the last album but it was a bit too 70's prog for me. Too much flute and sax...

Mine came through today at last! Looks and sounds amazing. I have Yellow and Green in their respective colours, but this is far far nicer. The swirl looks really nice, it's more of a red than a pink. Took a couple of pictures for those that might want to see...

Anyone know when the 50% off international shipping expires? Would save me a few pennies (although I'll probably get stuck with import taxes!) Or is this something that will be making an appearance in random European stores (is that a stupid question?) like the Disney picture discs?
