  1. I may be in the minority, but for me, this album is definitely as good as the first one. The jamming on this album and guitar work is solid. The run out groove sound on side 4 took me a more than min to catch. Also, white copy from ITR. Big surprise.
  2. I pulled the trigger on the one that Midheaven has in stock and they've already sent a shipping notice. That being said, "Shipping Label Created" and seeing actual movement on an item through the USPS system are two different things.
  3. Yeah, I'm an idiot. I was multi-tasking & not paying attention to post dates. That Amazon link points to a vinyl copy available for $35 which made me think there was a colored version available for some odd reason.
  4. Bummer that there are issues with some of the pressings. Mine does not have any noticeable noise on side one. Fortunately it's as quiet as the rest of the LPs. EDIT: horrible grammar
  5. No problem. Previous email notices of the store being open have usually come around the 2nd/3rd week of the month so perhaps next week.
  6. The member's store is not up/open yet but I'll look into it when it is.
  7. Yes, I've had some pretty quick ship times lately. I'm not sure if it was official priority shipping but my Replacements box set arrived in two days of being shipped. Really hope this is something that continues with them.
  8. Bullmoose told me on Tuesday that there were shipping issues with the distributor and that they were supposed to receive them at the end of this week. Then on Wednesday I got an email saying it was shipping. Not sure if it was an error or maybe they got a partial shipment.
  9. I'll be damned if that beginning of that song doesn't have an Oompa Loompa (Willy Wonka) vibe for me. That being said, I still dig it.
  10. There is a vinyl pre-order for Pipe-Eye's "Cosmic Blip" EP which is being released by King Gizzard's Flightless label on 9/25. Here's a description for the EP: "Composed on space station Mirus 4 as a collaboration between scientists from the international space community, 'Cosmic Blip' is an expedition cataloging the effects of space melody and cosmic rhythm whilst in close orbit to Earth." The first single & video for the band can be found here: http://www.brooklynvegan.com/archives/2015/08/watch_the_video_15.html Preorder here: http://pipe-eye.bandcamp.com/
  11. Agree that they should make it more clear. Midheaven had an Instragram post three days ago stating that they still had grey available. But that was three days ago...
  12. If I'm not mistaken Midheaven still has a limited edition grey pressing of this album still available for preorder.
  13. Another head's up of a preorder that is coming....Apprentice Destroyer on October 9. This is the guy who recorded some or all of his album at a Guitar Center. Definitely in the electronic, Creeping Pink, Damaged Bug space of the Castle Face releases. http://www.popmatters.com/post/apprentice-destroyer-cloud-fortress-audio-premiere/
  14. Not a preorder quite yet but Useless Eaters Live in San Francisco arriving on November 11. http://www.cmj.com/news/track-premiere-useless-eaters-hidden-fees/
  15. Wand recently did some songs live on the Marc Riley BBC 6 show. There is a tracklisting to help with fast forwarding to their songs. There is some interviewing before/after each song. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0686wfx
  16. Lex Records is doing a pretty nice discount of 25% off with free shipping on select items. http://shop.lexrecords.com/ Discount code SUMMERSALE15.
  17. Kool Keith is hit or miss with me as well, although I did pick this album up last week. L'Orange's production is pretty solid and the album has a fun concept vibe. I've really been enjoying it. Mello Music also put up a second pressing of the L'Orange and Jeremiah Jae's "The Night Took Us In Like Family" for those interested.
