  1. Guess what?! You have the right to offend somebody if you want to! What is it that we teach children to deal with these situations? Oh yeah, "sticks and stones can break my bones but words will never hurt me"... In other words, oh, you don't like something he said? Well, he's a jackass, ignore him and move on with your life. People are going to say things you don't like. It's a waste of time and energy to get all bothered by other people. I'm already wasting energy writing this comment.
  2. Is only the bundled 7" signed? It doesn't say so on the singular 7" page.
  3. Both stores near me have had less and less vinyl each time I've been there. The last time I went they had one square crate of them, under a clothes rack. I had to get down on my hands and knees and dig under some shirts like a damn fool.
  4. SideOneDummy sent me a terrible sounding press of Superheaven's Ours Is Chrome. Emailed them requesting to return it for a new one. He said keep it and got another one in the mail for me the same day. Bam.
  5. Got it in the mail today. Besides a few scratches on the top (which I filled in with a black marker), it's in good shape. And it sounds fantastic! I don't remember cassettes sounding this good when I was a kid. But I also have a better amp and speakers than we would've had in our house or car at the time, so that probably helps. Really enjoying a stack of 90s cassettes I grabbed from a music store this week for cheap.
  6. After getting my download I realized I can copy the link to that page and others can access it. http://atozmedia.com/soundcard/default.asp?view=download&soundcardID=1842&downloadCode=R9H9399827
  7. Gotcha. Media mail where I live is like $3 so I wasn't sure why slow shipping was so much for a lightweight item. I'm not really bothered by a cassette costing $12. In the 80s a tape was maybe $8 and adjusted for inflation that's like $18. So if there's demand for tapes again, $12 is a fair price.
  8. An for some ungodly reason media mail for a cassette is $5.00? At checkout I realized you can choose first class for like $2.50. I bit the bullet and went with that for a copy of Enema. Couldn't find any cheaper copies on ebay or anything.
  9. Nice! Do you like it? I can't wait for mine to arrive next week, I've only heard good things about Naks.
  10. Same here in Minneapolis! Picked it up for $25 like two years ago, it's been around consistently since then, and now I just noticed it went up to like $50 at stores here.
  11. Emailed them and they were able to give me a tracking number.
  12. I just ordered a Nakamichi CR-1A for a cool $50 from eBay as I've been told it's a great budget deck from a reputable brand. Pretty excited. What do you guys play your stuff on?
  13. I'm with you. Staying optimistic for this new one. Nicky's been through plenty of shit lately to make for good songwriting.
  14. I have no problem with Yip. He's produced some of my favorite stuff these last couple years- title fight, citizen, superheaven, turnover... Looking forward to this very much. Will PO in a heartbeat, especially with all the band has been through recently.
  15. I feel the same. Still not a big fan of this one. Just buying to keep their discography complete I guess. I think his songwriting has gotten progressively lazier and it seems like him and Brad are just having fun with it now, rather than trying to write something deep and meaningful and poetic. Ursa Major took a while for me to like and while I do enjoy most of it now, I don't know if Dopamine will grow on me. What confuses me is that everyone else seems to adore it.
  16. Did Amazon orders all ship for this? Mine is still pending. Making me think it's probably not coming.
  17. Yes. I would absolutely pay $75 for the set. Although I am more interested in Lowcountry than anything else. It's my white whale.
  18. I went out and bought a cassette deck, from a guy on craigslist, just for this. I could've been murdered. What won't we do for this band?
  19. Queens of the Stone Age / Songs for the Deaf Envy on the Coast / Lowcountry And just for shits and giggles, that Flaming Lips one filled with Kesha's (among others) blood.
  20. So am I. This turned into a whole mess and it kinda bums me out because I never had a negative experience in this community until now. I think I'm just gonna unlist it everywhere and keep it. Sorry to hurt so many feelings. Album no longer for sale.
