I don’t think I’ll be opening mine when it arrives. Might sell it after a while. They’re one of my top fav bands, but the fact that this was, arguably, sneakily worded as a special album of unreleased music… “Well they never said it was new songs!!” Fair enough, but $60 is $60 that I could have spent on many other things. We waited like 7 months to get a vinyl with “nothing” on it lol.

Is anyone going to the Lamp of Murmuur show on October 30th in LA? I’ve heard there will be vinyl copies of the last full length for sale in person only. I’m on the east coast but if I could get someone to ship one to me at original cost, I’d be so grateful

DLFLIT is supposed to be a live recording of new songs that have never been released, afaik. Side B has a double groove where one groove is an experimental recording of their 2010 demo.

As someone who makes a pretty decent living...how are you guys ordering so many records and still surviving/saving any money for the future?
I always think that too lol, no shade, I just can't even imagine buying variants. One is enough for me, maybe 2 if it's significant enough to me. Between vinyl and botique movie collecting, I gotta keep spending at a minimum.

The atmosphere of this song/video is weirdly unsettling, her music makes me feel the same kind of unease that Ari Aster's films do. Not just cause the video has slight Midsommar vibes, but the overall feeling of anxiety or dread that comes with it, I think this album will have more of that even if it's not as 'extreme' as Caligula.

I got 2 copies of Loveless standard from two different UK shops (shipped to the US.) Both arrived with seam splits on the top of the jacket 😟 Hoping the deluxe doesn't suffer the same fate.

Record stores all have their stocks of m b v yet I'm on the 'delayed' list for my preorder. Sucks. My Loveless LP's are in transit from overseas - praying for their unscathed arrival.

Band webstore sent me an email saying their stock arrival is delayed and my mbv dlx might not ship for another 2 weeks.

Lantlôs has been a personal favorite band for so long. Melting Sun still hits so fucking heavy and groovy in parts. New single felt less heavy but I’m sure there’ll be moments on the album that feel more ‘familiar’

Still no cancellation email from music madness for the dlx, so I’m hopeful that one secured my copy. Still keeping my standard other edition preorders until I’m sure of it though

Starting to get nervous about that music mania link too. I haven’t gotten a cancellation notice but the deluxe has been ‘in stock’ for a whole day.

My luck is i'll order one of these, and then they'll do a signed record release edition in September. They did that with Underneath.
It's too bad they couldn't produce the full length "movie" to the album they had planned, I guess it got cut into separate music videos instead. I liked this video quite a bit.
