Finally decided on a variant and when I went to order a pink it was sold out. It would be real cool if a translucent variant pops up, I'm not a fan of opaque records but I'll probably buy a blue at my local if I get impatient. How's the sound quality of the record?

I'm not sure if Hopless bought the rights to own this recording, but I'm assuming they just paid to license it, and most the time if a label pays to license a recording the original owner can put stipulations on how many units can be pressed, I'm fairly certain I read that in another thread on here so it's possible it won't get more variants

I wouldn't even care if they did a BSN tour this year, it's easily my favorite circa album and I dont want to wait 2 more years haha

I'm not getting the 'Sunbather 2.0' vibe, this is album is very much it's own sound. I agree that Glint would fit on sunbather but that is it. Honeycomb sounds like it could have been on New Bermuda more so than on Sunbather and Night People and Near are very much uncharted territory for them. The lead guitar parts are very pronounced and the solos really soar, and I also agree the reverse delay is used very well and it adds more of a post rock vibe, and that's just my opinion off my first listen through

I loved it, I thought the production was very fitting for the theme of the album and I loved how you could hear him laugh out some of the lyrics. You could tell he was having fun on this album even though the lyrics got pretty bleak on some songs
