  1. So happy this is out! And so bummed I can't get to the show on Friday...
  2. Now this is good news! As is Candy Cigarettes on vinyl.
  3. i would buy this. someone make this happen. not joking either. Me too. And I've sworn never to buy a Snuggie.
  4. Man, GREs suck. On top of that, they're expensive. Like the guy up a few posts says, the verbal part is mainly a vocab test. So the SAT, but with harder/more random words. I don't know if you care about the math part, but its pretty standard. You need to know mean/median/mode, geometry formulas like areas and such, algebra stuff like the equation of a line and the pythagorean theorem, and little mental math tricks (divisors, prime #s, exponents, etc.). I am told that if you don't do math on a regular basis, you have to review or you won't be able to do it.
  5. According to the pressing info I have (which I think was posted on the board a while ago?) the midnight was out of 90. I don't think I made that up, but its weird that its not on the list anymore.
  6. Reminds me of: You can do this 1 in every 30 times and still have 97% positive feedback
  7. Why not buy one, drink it, then stuff the bag with something else and put it on display? Think that's what I'm going to do next time I order from No Idea.
  8. Apparently that's not true: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadian_Space_Agency They even have a coat of arms!
  9. I dunno, I'm definitely biased on this subject (given that my own (small) salary is at this moment paid in large part by NASA), but I think that money spent on basic research is almost never wasted. From a strictly utilitarian point of view, you've got all of the inventions and technology developed as a result. From a more philosophical perspective, surely trying to figure out how the world/universe works is one of humanity's more worthy pursuits, and far less wasteful than, say, blowing each other up or selling crap to each other. To conclude: The moon! There's water on it! That's crazy!
  10. $79M seems like a lot of money, but to put it in perspective, the US spends about $2 billion dollars per week in Iraq. That's 25 times as much. Or, to put it another way, there are about 140 million taxpayers in the US, so it cost about $0.50 a person to fund the research. And now that we know there's a significant amount of water on the moon, we can probably expect to find it lots of other places. That's pretty awesome.
  11. Is that the BTMI! with the white vinyl screened covers? Wasn't there supposed to be another fancy cover version of that repress, or am I crazy?
  12. This, and also since they were going to put all of the stadiums on the south side a whole bunch of people were most likely going to get pushed/priced out of their neighborhoods. Lame.
  13. So excited for this, you don't even know. Well, maybe you do. Also, sweet cover art!
