  1. Yeah, I actually wrote something about it (last comment of page 9). It's absolutely fantastic especially if you read the books. Does anyone here watch "Between"? Just sat down and watched the entire first season in one sitting (about five and a half to six hours) completely on a whim, absolutely loved it.
  2. I can't stress what I'm about to say enough... long gone are the days of excellent content like Orange Is The New Black, Daredevil and Stranger Things. A Series Of Unfortunate Events is a vile, melancholy television program and Netflix must be punished. There is very little if any positivity to be taken away from this program and so I suggest that anybody looking for a happy ending do themselves a favor now and look away and watch something more delightful, like Fuller House. In all seriousness I'm about half way through it and it's absolutely fantastic so far! It's everything the movie was but also everything from the books that it wasn't and then some.
  3. I would absolutely LOVE a vinyl release for Blackbear's "Dead Roses"
  4. Hell yeah it does, one of the best games ever in my opinion. Got it for Christmas and I think it was only like $20 since the game has been re-released like a hundred times. Such a steal.
  5. I haven't, I have heard of it though. I'm honestly slacking hard when it comes to anime and have a lot of series I need to catch up on and even start.
  6. I've been putting together my setup over the past year or so with a lot of help from you guys here on VC, but unfortunately due to a turn of events in my life the project got set back a little bit. I'm almost finished though! Denon DP300F w/ Ortofon 2M Red (Coming Soon!) -> TCC TC-750 -> NAD C352 -> Radious R90HD's / AKG Q701's I'll be sure to come back and post a photo of everything once I get the turntable and have it all setup, should be a couple weeks or so (if everything goes well).
  7. Aesop Rock - The Impossible Kid
  8. I have to say I was pushing for John Hamm as Negan but I'm loving JDM as Negan so far ESPECIALLY in that last episode. The moment I saw him without the beard is the moment I saw comic Negan on screen for the first time... and don't get me started on his reaction to Lucille getting shot. Can't wait for the rest of the season and March To War/All Out War!
  9. I really loved Attack On Titan until about half way through when people started turning into titans, that's where it just got a little too cheesy for me. Great anime nonetheless though! Strong writing (barring the arc I mentioned but that's subjective) and I love the animation itself. Attack On Titan and Sword Art Online kind of go hand in hand for being two of the most popular anime in the East so if you haven't seen that yet I highly suggest the first season! Season 2 was kind of lackluster. I'm really picky when it comes to anime, I mainly enjoy slice of life type stuff and never really got into anything Shonen/with too much fighting. Anohana is my absolute favorite series of all time (fun fact, was done by the same studio as SAO) but I also really loved ERASED. Currently watching Kiznaiver, Psycho-Pass and Parasyte, but I'm slacking. Don't let me forget about the films though, Kimi No Na Wa is the most gorgeous animated film I think I have ever seen along with the studio's first film 5 Centimeters Per Second. Wolf Children was fantastic as well, great animation and an absolutely beautiful score.
  10. Honestly I've been really into Grand Theft Auto Online and Star Wars: Battlefront again. I've also got the newest release of Resident Evil 4 on the Xbox One waiting for me but I haven't installed it yet.
  11. If you're after electronic stuff like Purity Ring I can't recommend CHVRCHES enough. I'd also VERY highly suggest Porter Robinson and Madeon as well as the single they recently did together called "Shelter".
  12. I recently started watching Black Mirror as well! Currently up to season 3 episode 3, "Shut Up and Dance". I'm not quite sure how I feel about it, a lot of the episodes are a little too heavy handed but they're all really well done and the writing in certain episodes is really strong. The standouts for me so far are "Shut Up and Dance", "The Waldo Moment" and maybe "White Bear". Loved John Hamm in the Christmas special too. I also really loved the first season of Stranger Things, every season so far of Orange Is The New Black and I'm eagerly waiting for A Series Of Unfortunate Events this week!
