Eminem is just becoming kind of pathetic and more sad as time goes by. His albums are getting worse as well and even this new album you just look at the features and it is a bunch of female r&b/pop artists which makes him look more ridiculous when he tries to come out and talk trash about many current rappers which he has a point about but he is not much better these days. That is not even going in on that midlife crises dye job beard either which somehow is worse than the lead single. He went from making fun of Benzino rapping as a 40 year old ten years ago to now being that same guy.... but much worse.

Discogs and for me at least it is not even close with how much the mobile version has improved over the last year. Sure, some of the older releases can be a bit of a pain to find the exact right release but it's nice knowing the exact releases of everything I have. The barcode scanner in the discogs app is awesome as well to just simply scan a record after I cleaned it and throw it in the collection. I also use this at record stores or wherever to quickly scan and see what it is going for to see how good of a deal it is. The big thing is to not try and get it done over night, if you got a good sized collection just space it out a bit and do it right.

Mine got cancelled from Bullmoose too which sucks since I pre-ordered the same day it was announced and could have ordered it from 3-4 other places since then. Sounds like it is mostly on thirdman and there ridiculous limited restrictions on big releases not to mention waiting until the last second to let all the stores know they will be getting even less then expected. It just screws everyone and makes that variant impossible to buy for the majority of fans.

Murs 3:16 – 9th Edition with only 1000 being pressed this is my only "must have" most of the other things I am thinking about are doing somewhat larger runs so I will probably just wait it out a bit and get them for cheaper. It is going to be crazy how much picture discs will be in bargain bins at your local records store in the very near future though!

I just hope they have better quality control on the pressing when it does come out then they did on that ps job of Harrison Ford's head!

Why not just subscribe? Outside of that you are going to pay the flipper premiums, pretty much no way around it. I highly doubt it gets released this year anywhere else either or next for that matter. It will eventually get a wide re-release but who knows when.

That Trick 'r Treat soundtrack is easily top 3 in my Halloween records and I have quite a bit. Extremely well done all around. Awesome to hear reissues of Friday The 13th coming since that is the release I wanted most that I do not have yet. I have not been following soundtracks much lately but does anyone know if any of the first 3 Halloween OST's are getting releases this year anywhere?

Yeah, as much as I love the artists and the quality of the releases on ThirdMan I completely dislike how they handle a lot of the limited releases. They make things so ridiculously rare that people just flip it for ridiculous prices and pretty much shut out the majority of the people that would genuinely love to have the release and actually play it. Plus, even there retail prices are pretty ridiculous for just a color variant but since it is "rare" they charge at least twice as much as the standard black on much of it haha.. It is what it is but they are most def. the driving force that is causing so much of there releases to be flipped for ridiculous prices.

Yeah, only join if you want that months record or you are cool with doing a 3 month subscription so you can substitute for something else. Like armadillo said though, all the records I have gotten from them have been great pressings and they are extremely easy to work with if you ever have any problems.

I remember when this site was more of a secret, they had so much great deals on records but now anytime something decent gets added it's posted all over reddit and gone in minutes. Picked up an electric flosser and toothbrush combo though.. The magic of the internets, you never know what you might buy today.

I have heard nothing but great things about the re-issue of Paul's Boutique. I wanted to get just that from Crate and Barrel but shipping killed it and I have none near me.

Yeah, kind of sucks how they made the only two options either a super ridiculous overdone and overpriced box set (well put together but still over the top) or just the standard release which will be available everywhere under 20 before too long after release. I am hyped this is finally getting a non-picture disc release though and will def. scoop a copy up sooner then later! I have a feeling there might be some variants of this as well.

The referral system is my only real complaint with them as I have def. lost some money due to not keeping track or just generally not feeling like tracking down the other person and then contacting vmp support. I had to contact them for any referrals I got for the Biggie album as well which was def. less then what I should have got. I will say there support is awesome which helps a lot but it's frustrating that it is still completely broken over a year later.

Yeah, I had OG's of a lot of the originals but they all got stolen awhile back sadly so I am with you on reissues of anything solo or group as I have been slowly rebuilding it but there is a lot of great stuff that needs reissues. I got an invite to Eligh's record release so that should be coming before too long as well. When I unsubscribed from the hip hop add-on they told me I was put at the end of the line when I sign back up and I read on the boards they are going to have A LOT of spots for common and I am guessing the Living Legends wont get the same quantity so I don't know if any new signups are even going to be able to make the list. Anyone also know if they are going to make the add-on subscriptions separate from the ROTM after this month? I have zero interest in the st vincent record so im hoping they start.

Damn, that Living Legend's is a huge surprise but im all over that for sure. I hope they make enough so I can skip this mediocre Common album and still make it in for the next two.

Mine starts with S as well and I have not got anything at all either so they must not be quite there yet. I am guessing this is probably there biggest vault yet or at least close to it so there is probably quite a bit of people to get through.

Oh ok, I forgot about Blue Suits as the third so I thought you meant World Trade. Yeah, it was really strange how they were avoiding the sampling questions up until now and then they aren't on the liner notes either haha.. I would like to hear the story behind it all at some point though because it def. has me curious now.
