if all else fails, goodrecordstogo.com is going to get a decent batch in the middle of the week, so you may want to keep any eye out there. also, Macho (for those interested) got delayed in transit (they were allocated multiple copies but delivery got jammed -- they were pissed at the distributor from which the store ordered (shipped tardy)), and 1975 CDs (a few) are on the way, too. just fyi.

i think the TS 7" may be close to or the most demanded item in RSD history, so unless one got it for free or some such (via lottery, first few in line at list price after extended camping, get extremely lucky in a few hours when random outlets post one copy for sale -- a virtual lottery -- whatever...) this thing isn't going to be a "drop in price over time item" like typical RSD releases. far from it, in my opinion.

you will not find this on the secondary market under three digits, ever, despite "10,000" pressed." a highly atypical RSD release. hell, the other TS item may not be far behind the 7" in terms of demand. i just don't see it happening re: the 7". i'm afraid you're looking at shelling out a crap-ton of money OOP "forever and always" or "evermore" (lol) unless you were (or will be) extremely lucky in a lottery of some sort, camped out a very long time, or find some idiot in the future on ebay who ends an auction at a stupid time on a random day in the coming days or years.

i guess one might be able to find a copy online at a record store's online shop when items go live, but one would have to act insanely fast and have a spreadsheet or something ready to roll with links that one can ram through as quickly as humanly possible upon an online onsale.

this place outfits the urban (and rural) very little.  i  don't like the fact that i place a pre-order for vinyl literally 3 minutes after an onsale starts, only to be placed on backorder due to yet-to-be production (as expected), but, for months and months, delay after delay, and then to cap it off, the order is cancelled after about a half a year -- even after multiple "restocks" that come and go.
and to cap it off, they send you a code for 15% off your next purchase as a "a little something for you"-- but can't be applied for any vinyl purchase! even if they offer you "express shipping" on your next vinyl purchase, the fine print explicitly excludes vinyl, even though the representatives over the phone or in a chat say it will work. i'm not buying clothes from you; i am buying vinyl.
one time i got a code for 30% off and free express shipping and was assured it would work for a vinyl purchase -- not the case. didn't work.
    adios, muchachos.

i have a time slot in about an hour and half and plenty of mailers.
i have no reason to go, because i don't want anything in particular, but i will if there is something that might still be lying around by then if ppl want something in particular. the store is well-connected, and often gets 10, 20, 30, 40 copies of titles that of which other stores receive like 1 or none at all.
cost would be store cost + $4.00 for media mail shipping (multiple LPs, too -- to a degree; if it's a box set you're after...that's gonna be a bit more). international shipping (untracked) would be $25.00 for an LP (sorry, i have no control). DHL is more reliable these days, but i'm not a business, and i don't want to mess around with what i know -- shipping via USPS first class international.
i don't know what is going to be left at 5 p.m., but i have been surprised sometimes.
    let me know.

    owner of store is well-connected.
there is some robyn left, too, and, i don't know what else you are looking for, but it may pop up. the website is a bit screwy.

you might even call tomorrow. in fact, that's what i'd probably do if you are still on the hunt for something. he can't get everything up fast enough. i saw crates of crap that said RSD in the back in the afternoon that had not even been opened yet (unless they had been resealed with other items for storage) -- dunno, they all had an RSD label. it's a one man show (with a helper) who has decided to run the store, basically, for the last 6 months on his own due to Covid.

also, if you like the old 97s, they have literally thousands of copies (lead singer is an investor in the store).  and lisa loeb visits the store each time she's back in her hometown.  that is all.

early intel appears to indicate that it looks like a lot of stores are receiving very few copies of titles, and it seems like amoeba and bullmoose are getting a shit-ton -- presumably for online sale overstock. who the hell wants to camp out in heat wearing a face covering, anyway? even if you have a store that has "appointments" -- what if you're lucky to be first (or close to it) and the store lets in 5 people at a time and the store only received, say, 3 copies of one title and those others are interested in the same one. you may be screwed even in that scenario...

USPS media mail has was horrific pre-pandemic and is now a complete dumpster fire. then, USPS priority mail started going into the shitter in april.

since about early april, i've bitten many a shipping cost bullet and ordered (if offered, especially if buying through an eBay/Discogs/independent seller)) with shipping strictly via FedEx 2-day at a minimum (and even FedEx express/overnight, if possible) in an attempt to avoid most problems. if ordering D2C or a mail-order division of webstore -- or an artist's webstore, i choose the highest level of shipping.  extremely costly, but, so far, money well spent -- essentially no delivery delays or problems.

stopped buying from international sellers, too (unless forced, in which case i have opted for the highest priority -- and tracked -- shipping method available).

but now these ridiculous mini-contracts being made by USPS with FedEx/UPS/Amazon as stopgap funding measures to support fund USPS (Congress isn't taking any immediate action to address the issue), where USPS takes over control of final stages of delivery (e.g. "UPS Mail Innovations" -- what a farce; innovative?), is really m(f)ucking my hatched plan, making my monetary outlay for postage start to look beyond foolish when i pit potential postal frustration against the dent in my pocketbook.

create an account (if you don't already have one) and make sure you're logged in. add the items you want to you cart. at the checkout page, pick the country/region to where you want your order shipped from the drop-down menu. type in your name.

for the mobile number, keep the Australian country code the same (+61) and in the mobile number field, type: 04xxxxxxxx (e.g. i typed in 04, followed by the first 8 digits of my mobile number). that should eliminate any "invalid number" error message that prevents you from proceeding to checkout. in the alternative, keep the Australian country code (+61) the same and just type in: 452070075 (this is some random, generic number for fence company in australia that has worked for me in the past). JB Hi-Fi isn't going to call you about an international online order -- they'd e-mail you with any problems.

then type in your address details. pick a shipping method. then, the "Proceed to Checkout" button should illuminate to a green color, and you should be able to move on from there.

there is a workaround to order internationally at JB Hi-Fi if people are encountering problems, especially with the "invalid number" hurdle that people can't get passed.  i can expound if ppl want assistance. ordered the gold Room For Squares last night (shipped to USA).

also, Discogs has copies of the VMP turquoise variant of Continuum flying up and being sold rapidly for around $30 to $33 shipped. keep checking if that's the only one for which you're looking. otherwise, the JB Hi-Fi exclusives can be obtained with the workaround...
