  1. A few thoughts since I am just catching up on this thread: 1.) A couple of these shows had already sold out. I (obviously) don't have access to their sales numbers, but the response was strong in enough markets that they nearly doubled the city count after first announcing the tour. 2.) Someone said that Brett's solo albums were overpriced?! I fucking made each of those by hand and they had some of the most unique packaging you've ever seen. Anyone who got a copy got it for a song as far as my tired hands are concerned! 3.) If this is too expensive for you, you should pick up a copy of Deadbeat Sweetheartbeat from me right here: http://www.mindovermatterrecords.com $26 bucks for a 2xLP in a gatefold jacket that unfolds twice, extends to over 4 feet long and housed inside of a screen printed, hand numbered jacket. 4.) I am pretty close with Brett. He is one of the nicest dudes I've ever met. He and the band members get along so well, and a day spent on any social media shows how close they all interact (and have for years)
  2. Am I crazy? I don't see the EMP versions on eBay. I see one Euro listing, but it doesn't give any real details.
  3. Who got lucky with Sunday's email blast? Those bad boys sold out LIGHTNING fast!
  4. Thanks to everyone who has grabbed a copy of the usLights record (and for all of the kind words <3)! We are excited for that album - it's gorgeous! While we wait, we have some non-vinyl news: we pressed 300 copies of Sunndrug's "Exit Wounds" on CD, so if you've wanted to check out the album on the cheap, they're only $7.99 and shipping immediately!
  5. Just a friendly PSA that corner dings do not affect playback. Your record is fine, as such no action is required.
  6. So we've got one more new artist to announce! I'm so thrilled to introduce you to usLights! We will be releasing their debut LP titled "wæs" in June and there will be more details coming very soon! The video below has a nice little snippet of one of their tunes. Check it out!
  7. Well, if we needed a swift kick in the ass to stop buying these awful nostalgia reissues and support new artists...this is it, gang.
  8. The problem is that too many label folks got fed up and left & now there isn't enough logic/reason being posted. There is a reason that I don't announce any release until I already have the records in my hands. I couldn't take it anymore.
  9. 1.) Repress? Nice. 2.) Brent rules. He nailed it when he said "if anyone knew..." - it takes an oppressingly long time to get these coveted pieces of plastic ready for retail and the WORST part is when people find out something is coming and then proceed to literally *badger* you about when they can buy it. Just remember that fielding emails/tweets/texts/whatever only slows the process down. The "process" includes shipping, so every "where's my tracking number" email you send is just a drain. Just chill out. Not just for this release, but for EVERY release. It will be available when it's available and not a minute sooner.
  10. These prices are so good! You're giving this stuff away! Let us discuss Deadhorse and one of those Grails splits. I printed those tour jackets for DH so I would love to have one in my collection!
  11. Derek is over here trying to make me blush. Also, if I am to be known for anything, it should be sinking far too much effort and time into projects that never needed to be projects in the first place. Haha! Glad that you guys are getting these as well. You're all one of only 4 people in the world with one! ;-)
  12. Whew. I just got caught up on this thread. Always a rollercoaster when Co&Ca is involved.
  13. I wasn't getting my notifications, so I apologize to everyone who DMed me and had to wait like 3 days for a response. Ha! That being said, these are all spoken for. High fives to those MOMR supporters over the years! You guys rock!
  14. So. I finally got bored enough that I created a screen printed jacket to house my fucked up version of this LP. I had some fun with it by doing some split fountains, so each one was a little different. I made a few extras for folks on the board. Send me a message and pay for shipping and it's yours. However, please note that preference will be given to those who have ordered anything from me in the past versus giving these away to n00bz. Sorry!
  15. I personally do not like anything pressed at Gotta Groove from an audio standpoint. Wax Mage and those hand pours are unreal looking, but I can tell the instant my needle touches a record if it was pressed at GG: the lead-in grooves are ALWAYS super noisy. Something about the way they plate. United has had the worst QC in the industry. Additionally, their customer service sucks some serious balls, but that is neither here nor there. Rainbo is great, IMHO, but it depends on who cuts the lacquers. As long as a third party cuts them, they sound fantastic. Their QC is pretty solid.
