  1. Wondering how I still remembered some of the login info for this account.... Besides that, Sundays are pretty uneventful. The most exciting thing that'll probably happen is getting some quiet time on guitar or bass through one of my cheapo 1x8 combo amps with headphones. I would prefer my tube amps but I'm in an odd situation where I have Sundays off so I now have to try being considerate with the volume in the house...at least for today.
  2. My only test pressing is the 12" single of the pulled Revolting Cocks cover of Olivia Newton-John's "Physical". Really a shame that the best version never made it to their Beers, Steers & Queers album.
  3. I buy records with the intention of keeping them so my tolerance for sleeve damage is a bit more relaxed. Corner dings or other kinds of wear don't bother me too much when my scrutiny is focused mostly on the condition of the record itself. I sometimes get surprised with sleeve wear that wasn't mentioned but for the most part the damage has to be a pretty big eye sore to make me want my money back. The kind of wear I try to avoid the most is damage that distracts from the album cover since the other part of vinyl I like to enjoy is the album artwork.
  4. Recently made 5 vinyl purchases with the first 2 coming from auctions I won. Iron Maiden - Seventh Son of a Seventh Son (original UK pressing) Blaze Bayley - The Man Who Would Not Die Blaze Bayley - Infinite Entanglement Rosetta / Restorations - Self-Titled split album (clear vinyl) Iron Maiden - Powerslave (1984 pressing w/ textured cover as seen below) So far I've only got Powerslave to show but man am I going to be stoked when the rest come.
  5. I'm slowly upgrading my setup but right now I'm pretty happy with it. The Sansui is one of my favorite pieces of hardware I own. Solid as a tank just how I like my electronics Turntable: Sansui FR-5080S Cartridge: Sure M97HE-AH w/ JICO N97HE stylus Reciever: Onkyo TX-8020 Speakers: Klipsch Reference 5-1/4" Bookshelf Speakers w/ BIC Formula F-12 subwoofer
  6. I've been splitting my time between trying to 100% the PC port of Ty the Tasmanian Tiger and getting back into Tony Hawk's Underground 2 using my recently acquired 60GB PS3. TY is wrapping up nicely but I haven't played THUG 2 for almost 10 years so I'm outright terrible ATM without cheats lmao.
  7. I don't have room to show the records too but nevertheless this is my collection of Isis records. I'm far from finished but these aren't that bad for almost a year's worth of collecting. From left row to right: Isis - Mosquito Control EP (1st press 'White' /100) Isis - The Red Sea (10th Anniversary Edition 'Clear / White Splatter w/ Translucent Red Speckles' /100) Isis - Celestial (2nd pressing 'Brown Swirl + Red Swirl' /250) Isis - Celestial (4th pressing 'Clear Yellow & Opaque Yellow Splatter / Red & Pink Splatter' /500) Isis - Wavering Radiant (Yellow / White Swirl) Isis - Oceanic (1st pressing 'Purple + Brown' /125) Isis - Oceanic ('Brine' /300) Isis - Oceanic ('Translucent Light Green' /200) Isis - Panopticon (5th pressing 'Black w/ Orange Splatter' /289) Isis - Panopticon (5th pressing 'Blue / Black Swirl' /209) Isis - Oceanic (1st pressing 'Black w/ Brown Marble' /6) Isis - Panopticon (1st pressing 'Clear + Black' /100 Isis - Panopticon (1st pressing 'Clear + Clear w/ Smoke' /75) Isis - Panopticon (1st pressing 'Black' /700)
