Is their a specific one I would have to purchase? Or just one that matches the wattage of my speakers

In the long run that is the goal but at them moment I was trying to see what I could do that would help for now

I am in the process of building a good setup that has the best sound with what equipment I have. Right now I have a pair of KRK Rokit 5s, and a Numark PT01 USB turntable. I'm currently having problems with how my speakers sound. They have a very bad hiss and sometimes distortion when they are turned on and running with my turntable. I'm not sure if I need an amplifier? or if I should invest in different cables? Just trying to figure out how to get the cleanest, crispest sound I can. I am very new to this so any feedback is greatly appreciated!
