  1. Well, yeah. Ages ago people only really had the radio, magazines and record stores to find music to obsess over. Their labels paid radio stations to play them, magazines to feature them and record stores to have them displayed prominently – they were forced down the world's throats, and thus became "the classics" because they were the biggest bands in the world, not the best.
  2. Out of sheer curiosity, what is it about "Jesus Christ" that people don't like? Or is it just because it's edgy to not like objectively great songs or whatever?
  3. 1. Deja (Tommy Gun) 2. Science Fiction (451) 3. TDAGARIM (Jesus Christ) 4. YFW (Last Chance) 5. Daisy (Daisy, or maybe Noro) Honourable mention: I Am A Nightmare I'd say SF and TDAG are almost a tie - TDAG has better ~songs~, but SF is the better ~album~.
  4. It's really cool because Cooking Vinyl are distributing the album here, and they almost always manage to hook an Australian variant up for their releases.
  5. Not sure how many shops in Australia will get the indie-exclusive in, but Resist Records in Sydney has a couple. They're $45, which sure as fuck beats paying ~$80 to get one imported. Also, in my pursuits of finding a shop that did have the indie, I learnt that most brick-and-mortar stores will have copies of the white pressing. So if you missed out on the online stock, hit your local up!
  6. Agreeeeeeed. The indie variant of SF is still my favourite one (if only because all the others are pretty bland), but that blue disc looks damn ugly. But I dunno, maybe I'll appreciate it more in person.
  7. I prefer opaque records when they're just one straight colour – I can't stand marbles, so I'm a little bummed this one is a marble. Plain transparent records are dope.
  8. Would brick-and-mortar stores be putting them out early if they get their copies before Friday, since the album is technically already out?
  9. Alright, who's going to be the first to take one for the team and rip the entire thing apart? Knowing this fuckin band, there's probably lyrics hidden on the undersides of the paper.
