  2. I picked up the red/yellow split of Guilt Show from Newbury's sale the other week, and this thing sounds fuckin' terrible. I can't remember if the OG press sounded this brickwalled/clipped, as I sold it many years ago, but this one will likely never hit the turntable again.
  3. Because they're hoping you forget to unsubscribe, just like a gym membership. source: I have a stack of Jack White live records I will never listen to and no one wants to buy on Discogs
  4. Bump — no one ever posted about this getting a 20th anniversary reissue: https://lucero.merchtable.com/music/vinyl/that-much-further-west-20th-anniversary-edition-vinyl-lp Got my copy in today and it sounds fuckin' killer. I sold my Sabot pressing in a moment of weakness a few years back, so I'm thrilled to have it back in my collection. Funny to think that Sabot did a deluxe 2xLP for $15 in 2011, and this single LP reissue ran me $37 after shipping. #thehobby
  5. I searched for the word “vinyl” to see what else they were carrying. I was not prepared for what I saw next.
  6. Correct, correct and correct. I spent a fair amount of time with NFG during my AP days; I even wrote a cover story on the band in 2011. I considered some members of that band to be friends of mine, though that number has dwindled over the years. I do believe Steve showed poor judgment and got absolutely railroaded for it due to the public perception of the scene at large at that time (this all happened shortly after Ian Watkins from Lostprophets was arrested for being an actual pedophile who was abusing an infant). Remember, there is always more to the story than what makes it out to the internet.
  7. That’s so fucked up. Like, I can see removing his photo or something, because why not be petty, but to delete his songwriting/publishing credits legit feels like it’s inviting a lawsuit.
  8. It's crazy to me how on these recent reissues they've completely erased Steve from the artwork/liner notes/song credits. Like, if you didn't know the band's history and just bought one of these records, you'd assume they were a four-piece when in actuality the guy who wrote 99% of the songs on these reissues has been Thanos-snapped out of existence.
  9. This could've been off of the Longshot record. I like it.
  10. Dudes, the OG sounds TERRIBLE. And people want to pay lots of money for it anyway! Sell the OG and buy a repress, then you can actually enjoy the music on the record. Win-win.

  12. In for the UO exclusive. Easy peasy. Two bucks cheaper than through Hello Merch, too.
  13. This is actually exciting, because the original pressing of this record is one of the most dogshit-sounding records I've ever owned. I finally sold it to someone else this year for waaaay too fuckin' much money (even after disclosing just how terrible it sounded), so I'm looking forward to picking up a reissue, assuming it's been re-cut into a double LP.
  14. Ditto! I was expecting Alice In Chains, instead I got more metalcore.
  15. Would love to see more folks post download codes in here. Labels are phasing them out because they're not getting redeemed enough, which I think is a bad decision — there's no guarantee anything will stay on the cloud. Own your music! Physical, digital, whatever — just possess it.
  16. Ratboys - The Window http://www.topshelfrecords.com/dl d4km-w8jl This is one of the best records of 2023, don't sleep on it. Ratboys - "Go Outside" (single) http://ratboys.bandcamp.com/yum tvke-3kwv tnk4-yv37 9yvk-x39c tc3g-3768
  17. No Devotion - No Oblivion https://transactions.sendowl.com/orders/133375482/download/fb5ec1a7a175424f70182a842e729ad1 Two downloads left. This record is fuckin' great btw, and is currently 25% off at Velocity Records' webstore.
  18. Jeff Rosenstock - HELLMODE http://www.polyvinylrecords.com/iheartvinyl XABE2PUDJ52V4CHX
  19. Touch & Go has been finally getting a lot of their back catalog back in print — I just got an email about the following three titles, but there are a bunch more in their online store, all slated to be released by the end of the year: https://store.touchandgorecords.com/
