  1. Your other option is to not buy everything that has a band's name all over it, and save your hard earned money. I'll never understand why "variant collectors" feel compelled to keep dropping cash on ridiculous numbers of pressings. There's way better things in life to spend your money on (or not spend it at all). Rant over.
  2. And again, thanks for the heads up. Been waiting for the gold to be sold separately. I'm absolutely stoked on this album - what a cracker!
  3. Does Fat send shipping confirmation emails these days? It's been a while since I've ordered from them.
  4. I'm not sure how many people are aware of this, but the Cherry Poppin Daddies recently released a 20th anniversary edition of Zoot Suit Riot on silver vinyl. From their official announcement: "2017 marks the 20th Anniversary of the release of our seminal, double platinum, worldwide swing smash Zoot Suit Riot, and to commemorate the occasion, we went back into the studio to remix and re-master the entire record from the original 2 inch tapes! We also dug out some vintage 24 track recording of us playing live and ridin' high in 1998 and mixed some of that stuff in to include in a package that will be the definitive, audiophile friendly 20 song version of Zoot Suit Riot. The 20th Anniversary Edition will be available worldwide starting January 13, 2017. In addition, we will for the first time ever be releasing Zoot Suit Riot on beautiful silver VINYL! The package includes a download card included so you can upload the new mixes to your computer, if you so desire. But why not listen to it on VINYL like the Gods should have intended! We took care not to ham-fistedly compress and over limit this baby so that the full dynamic range of the music (music crafted to actually have dynamics) would shine through." http://www.daddies.com/Details.cfm?ProdID=73&category=5
  5. From the artwork to the sound of at least a couple of the songs, I got a definite Load/ReLoad vibe from this album too. Favourites for me are: Hardwired, Moth To Flame, Atlas Rise and Spit Out The Bone. Still need to give it a few more decent listens though, because the middle seems to be a bit of a blur at the moment.
  6. The Amazon listing suggests that this is a single LP. Given that and the mockup, I'd say that's the case.
  7. Fantastic! Thanks for the info.
  8. How do you know the regular press is red?
  9. Doesn't say. I'm snagging one of the coloured ones now, and if the Despair Faction bundle turns out to be coloured too, I'll grab one then.
  10. So, the bone w/bronze splatter does exist: If anyone's keen, there's still copies available: http://artistfirst.com.au/collections/fat-wreck-chords/products/first-ditch-effort-lp-bone-bronze
  11. I ordered from JB Hifi, but now they've pushed the release date back to the 28th Oct. I don't know why, when Artist First are shipping them right now.
  12. Am leaving for the States in a couple of days. The original plan was to buy vinyl en masse at Hot Topic, but alas, that is no longer the case. Can someone get me up to speed though - if I go to a store/outlet, am I still likely to find some vinyl floating around? Are they full price, or still $10? And does ship to store really take up to 14 days if I ordered online and chose that option?
  13. Ordered the vinyl bundle earlier today when the site was having a shitfit. Seriously the worst webstore/layout/explanations I've ever encountered. I couldn't figure out which bundle I should get because I had to view them one at a time, and the page took 5 mins to load each time I did so. I'm just glad I got there in the end.
  14. Importcds did the same to me. I just ordered from Amazon instead.
  15. According to instagram, this is shipping on Monday.
