I'm on the look out for a copy of Wallows' Nothing Happens 2xLP. If anyone knows of a store that's put it up online and ships to Australia, I'd be extremely grateful for the heads up. Thanks in advance.

I haven't had any indication that mine's shipped. I ordered the red/clear swirl.

Apparently, that's for digital releases only. The vinyl cover will still be the previously released pink version.

I don't have the SRC press to compare it to, but the 20th anniversary edition sounds fine to me.

Received an order confirmation email, however, the payment came up with an error once it finally loaded (presumably because the site crashed). I assume it's safe to expect that if I got an email, that I was lucky enough to snag a copy?

If I recall correctly, the Impericon listing said "300 copies in Germany". Based on that, I think the Magenta will be some kind of "indie exclusive" type variant (and probably the same one that Banquet put up).

Your other option is to not buy everything that has a band's name all over it, and save your hard earned money. I'll never understand why "variant collectors" feel compelled to keep dropping cash on ridiculous numbers of pressings. There's way better things in life to spend your money on (or not spend it at all). Rant over.

I'm not sure how many people are aware of this, but the Cherry Poppin Daddies recently released a 20th anniversary edition of Zoot Suit Riot on silver vinyl. From the artwork to the sound of at least a couple of the songs, I got a definite Load/ReLoad vibe from this album too. Favourites for me are: Hardwired, Moth To Flame, Atlas Rise and Spit Out The Bone. Still need to give it a few more decent listens though, because the middle seems to be a bit of a blur at the moment.
