Woof, this is reallll cringe-worthy. When I read an interview with a record collector, I want to hear from people with walls/rooms full of records, people with huge collections of jazz/funk/northern soul/bootlegs/77-79 punk/Beatles/novelty records/SOMETHING INTERESTING. Not the same Brand New/Blink 182/Four Year Strong combos you can see in anyone's Deadformat tradelist. I get the idea of encouraging interaction with your reading audience, but either these aren't screened finely enough or this blog doesn't attract people with big collections. Someone who still uses an Ion/has never gone to a record store/considers an August Burns Red record a "white whale" because it went out of print 6 months ago is not worth interviewing about their record collection.

I like some of the old Green Day stuff, never was a huge fan. I've never heard anything by the band that I hated from any era though. That being said, that song was one of the worst fucking songs I've ever heard. Like, really terrible. The lyrics are unbelievably dumb.

I am starting to hate where Fat is going with this. Yeah of course not every limited record is for everyone, but this BS is only thriving the flippers on Ebay, while the collectors who are worldwide pay the price. But then again it is the bidders own fault.
I don't want every variant of every record, but it would be nice to at least have a fair chance every now and then.
