AFAIK it’s only with Cove. I guess the better way to phrase this is: “I wish labels would stop making artists do this.”
 
I believe they are doing this exactly why Taylor Swift, Senses Fail, etc have all done this. A label won’t give up the rights to the music so they’re hoping fans will just move on to this version on streaming services.

Just by coincidence I listened to my OG copy a couple weeks ago (and the first time since I’ve gotten a better table and setup), and it still doesn’t sound that bad to me.  I remember the CD being mixed like garbage but that’s it.
 
I’m a sucker though and I ended up ordering.  I really love the album and I’m curious to how much better they made it sound plus there’s bonus tracks so 🤷🏻‍♂️.  Of course we don’t know what they are yet.  Probably early demo versions of a couple songs that I won’t care about lol

Year Zero is still coming soon.  I think it's been about 7 years at this point.  Maybe i'll go drop a bunch of money on an OG so the reissue can move forward.

It’s an import from France.  I got an orange copy from a French website a couple months ago.  Actually not a bad price all things considering

Got my blue/pink in after sending back the Spotify gold they sent me.  Was only about a week process and the customer service was great.  And this one actually arrived in almost perfect condition whereas the one they sent me before had a seam split.  So everything worked out.  Sounds great too.

I emailed them and they were apologetic, sent me a return label and to let them know when it was in transit. I sent it back today, they said once they receive it, they'll send out the correct variant 

I mean, she dropped in on one of his LA shows the weekend before last to duet a couple of songs and hug him on stage.  Not sure how much animosity that leaves room for.

True.  If the discs themselves are fine then no reason for a full refund.  I think dude is taking it extra hard though being in Australia where he had to pay a lot more.  Just the gamble you gotta take sometimes.

He didn't say they didn't offer any compensation. Just no replacement or "full refund". I want to see what constitutes a full refund and not the partial one they no doubt offered that was conveniently left out of this post.

Oh shit.  Awesome.  Wish they would compile all the Here, Hear's into one big release or something at this point though.

Very excited for this. Soundtrack looks potentially really good too.

Ugh I’m sorry man.  I want to play it so bad.  I’ll see how I’m feeling once I finish Spider-Man.  Maybe the hype will get to be too much.  But I really hate paying more than like $20-$25 for digital games.
