If the skins had done their trade for Andrew Luck (who a few people had ranked behind RG3 but not many), would you call that move a mistake? The other thing I think is worth considering is that QBs don't really move very much in FA. It's not a guarantee you will get a QB for a decade if you hit but it's somewhat likely. It would easily be worth the cost of you thought you were getting a top 1/3 QB for 10 years.

Yep, I was wrong. I'm seeing some things on the internet saying that the show's creators have said it is permanent and Katie Cassidy has been informed she is no longer a cast member (although she will play herself on Earth 2 in the Flash). Given the way it went down where they showed her tell Oliver something and then all the sudden she was in a seizure, I thought it was going to be a big play (he gave her some drug that made her appear dead and she'll come back at the final episode just when they need her). Guess not, though. Laurel was always one of my least favorite characters and the show was a little crowded with heros since just about every major character has jumped on team Arrow. Episode was a little bit of a letdown after a season of foreshadowing but in terms of who they chose to kill off, I'm glad it was her and not one of the others.

Any predictions on HRs this year for Trevor Story? I think it's got to be at least 30. He's also another example of why spring stats are actually matter (not really for well established veterans, but for youngsters who may breakout)

I was at the Armando Gallarraga almost perfect game. It's amazing how loud a stadium gets when everyone is focused on cheering for 1 thing. Way, way louder than any lions game I've ever been to with people trying to mess with the opposing QB.

When they report box office numbers, how much of it actually makes it to the studios? Just wondering. This movie cost $250m to make and has already grossed $500m+. Wondering how much it has to gross to break even.

I think he was Lex Luthor, not Lex Jr. His IMDB doesn't have him listed as a Jr. He definitely referenced his father. I guess I'd have to watch again very closely to see exactly what he says. The Clark/Superman thing is just part of the story. If they gave him a mask, the fanboys would go apeshit (remember when they went nuts because Spidey was given organic web-shooters in the first Tobey film?). And while I understand the inconsistency with the spear, the exact effect of Kryptonite on Superman is something the writers use to their advantage with the character. I just took it as he is able to power through it when his adrenaline is pumping. It was nowhere near as bad as Routh lifting a kryptonite filled mountain.. So I see your points, they just didn't hurt the movie for me. I think when you are "into it" things like this don't bother you. If it never sucks you in, they become glaring.
