Now that physical media is no longer necessary CD's are going the way of the dodo so anyone who enjoys collecting and owning physical media are swinging back to vinyl and joining those that never left. Tapes offer none of those benefits. If you like having them then go right ahead, but I wouldn't expect them to hold value.

Hostels are a great way to meet people. A lot of them have shared rooms, like quads, doubles, what have you, so you can meet a lot of like-minded folks. Contracts over 5 years don't generally work out when players are at that age. Guess it is just a cost of doing business? Out of curiosity, you think that Fielder is worth a longer contract than Pujols. Is that purely based on age?

I don't follow the Marlins too closely but weren't a lot of their player dumps young guys they no longer could afford to keep? It's sort of a funny situation because they spend for players to keep them in contention, in hopes that it will renew interest in the franchise. But they are in Miami, so you know, it doesn't really work out. Both these acquisitions seem little dicey too me. Reyes with the injury risk and 3 years on ANY closer can bite you.
